oh man and I thought I had issues with booked different days and booking different flights...I think you win! I was always able to pull up my ressies! I think in the back of all our minds we hope that we have a ressie when we arrive even though we check and check and check it. It would drive me crazy not able to pull up my ressie and link ADRs

Quite the headache with all the Disney Who-Ha!

Hopefully your Board results will pick ya up!

Nope--bad news there, too. I missed the silly National Boards by 5 points! I am going to redo one section to get those five points and at least there is a grant for me to do it and save that $350. On the plus side, I pulled up my results by 46 points from last year. I can bank points, so all I have to do is fix one section out of 5.

I can link ADRs--I just can't pull up my reservation online. They said at Guest Services I would not be able to do online booking, but I know the reservation is in there--I made a Candlelight Processional Dining package reservation tonight and the Castmember I spoke to confirmed that I was stayong at POFQ Dec 17-24 and was on the DxDP. They can see my reservation, they just can't do anything without a manager helping.

Oh well, at least I know I'm going.

And still no Mickey Mail.

That happened to me on our last trip. I guess the saga of resort changers is more than the online system can handle. Of course online dining ressies and check in didn't exist then but it really bugged me that I couldn't just pull it up. I should check to see if I can view our current one since it did change dates once and then codes once already.

The one day I am not even thinking about Mickey Mail is the day it arrives. Today, dd10, her brother and sister and my niece and her boyfriend went for a walk. DD10 decides to check the mail. When she came back, she said, "Momma, I think I have what you've been looking for." In her hand was my MICKEY MAIL!


SO, 3 weeks out (20 days), and my itinerary is complete. I am not doing more than planning the park days and meals, as that is really all I need with only one of me. . .For the meals, I've noted the new ones for me--there are a lot of them!

Dec 16--staying overnight in Savannah to get a jump on the next morning

Dec 17--Check in and Epcot
Lunch--Counter Service Somewhere
Dinner--Tokyo Dining--CP dinner package New

December 18--MK and MVMCP

Dinner--CS (possibly OOP)

Dinner--Hoop de Doo New

Dec 20--AK/MK for EMH

Dec 21--DTD and DHS for EMH only--very late start day
Lunch--Raglan Road, but may forgo for Wolfgang Puck Express New (both)

My parents have chosen 2 girls for the Christmas Giving Tree this year and they are 11 and 12. They only say clothes and sizes in Jr. dept but for wants they would like make up, art supplies, and jewelry.

I know your oldest DD is around that age, what types of art things would she like? We were looking at some sort of Hannah Monatana design your own clothes art set. The family has very little money and what we get for the kids will be all they get for Christmas so we're really racking our brains to get the most for them.

What types of things would your DD want?? We got them a heart diamond necklace and earing set (they do have pierced ears) and my cousin who works for Lancome is getting us make up for them but we were clueless on the art. We feel they are too old for your marker/paper type of art although we might get like a basic art set during black friday sales.

Any advice would be great!! Thanks!

I have gotten my daughter art sets and also scrapbooking kits--both of which she loves. She also likes the design your own jewelry stuff--you can get the kits at WalMart.

So, you all remember how I told you all that Disney actually sent me 2 sets of my paperwork? Well, I got the second set yesterday. I noticed something. Even though their records stated that they printed the travel documents on the 5th and 17th of November, those are not the dates on the paperwork. The dates on the paperwork were the 14th and 21st.

Either way, I got 2 sets of luggage tags, and am certain they are aware of my arrival now!

And, now that I have finished Thanksgiving and we all are stuffed, let's let this lolcat start off our week. . .

No, it's not perfect, nor will you ever find it in the window of some nice store, but my kids put up the tree Sunday afternoon. . .

My favorite ornament. . .

While we are at it, I have had further ADR tweaking, so much so, that I can't even remember where I'm going when. I was able to snag a 6:05 pm ADR at 1900 Park Fare, which is extremely hard to get. I am looking forward to relaxing by myself for a few days--it seems like I should be taking a kid or two with me, though. I've never been away from all of my family for more than 48 hours! I plan to finish my Christmas shopping at the Lego Store in Downtown Disney--much less expensive than shipping the Legos to the house.

I am excited--15 days from now (360 hours) I will be on my way down to Savannah to stay over night halfway between home and Disney. Then, it'll be early in the morning (like 6am) to drive the rest of the way!
