It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow that DVD waived ROFR on my resale purchase. I know the closing process is between 2 and 3 weeks, but I can't stand the wait :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc !

Skiing season has pretty much ended (conditions are marginal, and my work and weekend sched is not allowing any more outings), outdoor season (cycling, gardening, and yardwork) hasn't begun. I can't do any more planning for my Dec. trip until I close.

Just needed to vent :) ....

Be patient. Disney received our stuff on March 8 to enter into the system and we finally were entered on March 21. I was told that they are very backed up since the main person was out for a family emergency.

Hang in there!! It took us a full month to close after we passed ROFR (we got caught up in the beginning of the year back-log due to members' fees being paid--- so we were told). It was the longest month of my life -- aside from the ninth month of pregnancy! It should go quicker for you. And the good news was that it only took Disney seven days to get us in their system and assign us a member number, instead of the 10 days to two weeks we had been told. Looking back, I can't believe what a basket case I was, waiting every day. But, getting our member packet was wonderful!!!! Good luck! pixiedust:

Keep in close contact with your agent. Sometimes a call from your agent to the right person at Disney can be a big help.

... April 19. Still another 2 weeks until I get paperwork to sign. The closing company is waiting for the "estoppel" from Disney. FYI - here's a humorous definition of estoppel from lectlaw dot com:

"An example of the slowly disappearing tendency of the legal profession to speak in secret code. All it means is 'stopped,' 'blocked' or 'not allowed.' Not only is it bizarre but the term does not appear to originate in any known language. Our research indicates it started either as a legal fraternity's drunken prank or was the result of an unknown Judge's severe speech impediment."
