Well, I am headed back to DtD on Wednesday, albeit to meet with a new guide (got an unexpected email today from my previous guide telling me today was her last day. Not quite sure what to make of that )
I am 99% sure we will purchase a DVC contract for BLT, but for less points than I originally considered. I think we can make 260 work for us, and we can add on later if needed or I get an uncontrollable case of addonitis. Anyway, we were already booked for a September stay at the Contemporary during free dining, which I thought we would leave as is, but I couldn't help thinking that I'd just stare at BLT wishing we were there instead. So I decided to ask the new guide if he could check BLT availability for the same days and he was able to hold a 2 br standard view room which is just perfect for us. It's only a 3 night stay so I doubt we'd be in the room much to enjoy any other view. And while I could deal with a 1 br, 2 br is so much better because I don't have to bunk with my mother-in-law (lovely woman but I have my limits : ) I also decided to convert our June 7 day MYW tickets to AP's and have found several tips that will help me save even more on those. Everything is falling into place quite nicely. I won't be signing anything until after the webcast later this month, so I will be able to take advantage of whatever the best incentives are. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have replied to my posts and sent me PM's with advice. It's all very much appreciated. Will post again when everything is finalized (if I don't change my mind again before I sign.)

Congratulations and it sounds like a wonderful plan!!! I am sure you have thought about this but may want to consider breaking up your 260 points into smaller contracts for the future.
