I can feel an impulse xmas booking coming on: HELP PLEASE!

Hi,
No not yet, I don't get paid for another 2 weeks aarrrgh!!! I'm hoping that I'll still be able to get a room at the DLH for 5th-8th Jan! Does anyone think that I'll have a problem, will it get fully booked quickly at that time in the year?
I've always really wanted to go at xmas and the DLH will just be the icing on the cake!

p.s little mermaid, are you not upgrading to DLH on Wednesday anymore? I understand your predicament, it really is a lot of money! I'm trying to justify it to myself by keep telling myself that it is a xmas pressie for my daughter :goodvibes

When i spoke to Disney direct about the DLH they said they only have a limited amount of rooms for the one night free offer, not sure if she was saying just to get me to upgrade lol.
This is a Xmas present for my daughter aswell, its just £576 (without HB plus)is alot on money compared to £340 at the SL with a montana room and half board plus. I need to decide by tomorrow for when i ring Disney Direct :rotfl:

My DD will only be 3 when we go in January so im not too sure she actually cares where we stay lol.

When we went last July we didn't tell Mia about it. My DH woke her up on the day we were going and told her... And of course, she didn't believe us!!! :rotfl: She was fine once we got to Waterloo though...

I'd love to stay in the DLH though so maybe an anniversary, birthday, something... :)

TBH Emma, I don't think Kyra will care where she stays as long as she's at DLRP. Wait till she's older if you're doing it for her IMHO.

Thats what I'm thinking, also we will have dinner at inventions so its not like either us will miss out. Its not the like DLH is going to disapeer anytime soon :rotfl:

LOL

I'd save the money and 'maybe' buy her something while you're there... :rotfl:

Emma, I think you should go for SL.

You sound jut like how I feel, and now I've booked SL I know it was the right thing to do.

It only a few minutes difference, and although its lovely to stay in wonderul hotels, the SL is wonderful, and you are still at disney, and you will have a lovely time, and be a lot richer!!

I'm sticking with the SL, Kyra really won't know the difference not at her age anyway. Plus i really cant afford to spend out my budget :lmao:

I may stay at the DLH in July next year but that depends on this years fireworks as i know Wishes isnt on this year. So want to know what the Enchanted Fireworks are like before i decide :)

OMG, so is it definitely Enchanted fireworks then?? I LOVE wishes, but LOOOOVE enchanted too!!! :-)

Apparently so, well my friend who is the webmaster for the DLP website was rather hushed about it when i asked him. But from everything ive read it looks like Wishes is no more. :(

Oh well, either way I'll be happy. But I'd really love to see Wishes again, if its the same as the California one, with Julie Andrews. I loved it SO much!

Emma I think that you're doing the right thing, your little one will just be glad to be there. The main reason I've decided to take Mollie to the DLH now is becuase she's a bit older (will be nearly 9) and I think she will appreciate it more than she would have done a couple of years ago.
You'll both have such a great time regardless of where you stay,

Thanks Ruby :goodvibes I'm sure your daughter will love the DLH (I know i do:lmao:)! Think of me when your popping back to the hotel while im battling the cold to get the SL :rotfl2:

I've only ever stayed in the SantaFe so I'm pretty excited too! :cool1:
I think I'm goin to ask my other half tonight If I can borrow his credit card just for the booking and 10% deposit, I'm desperate to get it booked asap, I really don't want to lose the room for the dates I want!

So desperate to book but on hold at the moment until we get car sorted out. We asked Josh (2.5) where he would like to stay and he is determined to stay at the Santa Fe again, even showed him pools and at Sequoia but keeps saying "No! At our hotel". Ah my boy, a miser just like his Dad, I am so proud.

There's no such thing as borrowing DH's credit card!!! :rotfl:

I do it all the time, just ask him to give it to me esp when it comes to booking DLRP :rotfl2:

Honestly, I'm not THAT bad :rotfl2:
