I can feel an impulse xmas booking coming on: HELP PLEASE!

Hey guys,
We tried Halloween last year and now I'm feeling the need to try christmas at DLP! I've even convinced my other half to come with us!
Can anyone please tell me when do the christmas celebrations run to in January? I've been looking at the DLP website and it seems that Jan is cheaper than xmas but will the christmas celebrations still be running then?
Also is the DLP website the cheapest place to book? I'm planning to book my flights separately,

The Christmas Season finishes on the 6th! We are going from the 5-8th January to see the end of the Christmas Season!

Hi, Thanks, does that mean that the christmas things are still about on the 6th or will they have disappeared by the 6th?
I think that you've got the right idea, I would like to go roughly the same dates, the prices are so much better!

The last day of the Christmas schedule will be on the 6th..though im sure the decorations will still be up for a few days after.

I just wont tell my other half how much it is going to cost

I will see you there , im upgrading to the DLH on Wednesday
I booked directly with Disney, and my travel independantly with Eurostar!
Not sure if the prices will rise, they may well do. But if you go in January you get 1 night and day free.

Hi, yes the free day and night came up when I was looking at prices, it would be rude not to wouldn't it!
Is there anyone I can book the hotel only with and only pay a deposit? It will be a couple of months before I can pay the full amount but I don't want to risk loosing a room at the Disneyland Hotel! I would really like to book it and pay a deposit now!!!! haha

just got back from dlp this evening (stayed at santa fe) and as yourself i can feel an impulse to book for another trip
my other half birthday will be on the xmas day itself but looking at the package price from disney website i dont think i will book for the xmas week in dec instead probably book a week or two later. what are the celebrations like in dlp? are there any specials events?i was thinking of booking a surprise birthday trip for him (if we both managed to get annual leave at the same time!). probably go for other hotels next time around as dh was not very impressed with santa fe

any advice before i go ahead and book? is the weather and crowd in january bearable with a 2 year old toddler in tow?

No not yet, I don't get paid for another 2 weeks aarrrgh!!! I'm hoping that I'll still be able to get a room at the DLH for 5th-8th Jan! Does anyone think that I'll have a problem, will it get fully booked quickly at that time in the year?
I've always really wanted to go at xmas and the DLH will just be the icing on the cake!

I think you will still be able to get a room at the DLH...i got one ok, and i booked for the 5th of jan last week.

She's 8, not 9 till next March. We've been to DLP for her 5th bday and Halloween and WDW Florida when she was 6. We all love Disney in our house!
We're saving up for 2 weeks in Florida in Oct 2010 but I just couldn't resist xmas at DLRP!
I'm not going to tell her, just going to give her a Disney xmas card with big letters written on the inside 'YOU ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND PARIS AND STAYING AT THE DISNEYLAND HOTEL' or something like that
I'm not very good at keeping secrets though......haha
