We stayed at the WL from Dec 7-14 in one of their junior suites so if anyone has a question or the info on our great room location - please let me know!!

I know the answer to this. You can have up to 6 people plus 1 child in a pak n play. Hope this helps!!:)

I am taking my next trip to WDW in late May 2003. I was thinking about reserving a junior suite at the WL. I will have a party of 3 adults and 2 children. I am not sure if it would be better to reserve the junior suite or two rooms. With two rooms, we would have an extra bathroom. I guess it will depend if there are any codes or AP rates for May '03.

Can you tell if any of the junior suites/deluxe rooms have view of Bay Lake? According the room description on WDW's web site, all of the deluxe rooms are woods view. Does anyone know for sure?

The Junior Suites are all at the very end of the wings facing the lake though on one side, by the dock, there are alot of Cypress trees blocking the view. I suppose you could see the lake through the trees. There are also 5 or so Jr. Suites half way down one wing on the corner where it makes a jog near the waterfall. These are one on top of eachother and have a grea vies ow the courtyard, pool and lake. This is where we had our Jr. Suit. I loved the rooms and would fefinatley stay there again though I do understand about having two bathrooms for a larger group. We were only 3 adults so it was fine.

Hi there!!

We were in suite number 3003 which was fantastic. It was at the end of the hall on the left side close to the dock for boats to the magic kingdom. It's true there are a lot of trees but we were able to see the lake through them and caught obscured views of the electric pageant every night. We also heard the geyser and could see part of it which was "way cool" according to my neice.

We could walk up/down 2 flights of stairs and be right at the dock in no time. We were 3 adults and 1 child so the bathroom worked out well for us. The big thing about the suite was that we would put my neice to bed for the night or a nap and the 3 of us could talk in the living room area. My sister said she would feel uncomfortable coming into "our room" if we had connecting rooms.

As far as a layout - I believe the disney.com site has a great basic room pic.

Keep those questions coming!!

One more question , Are you able to book these rooms discounted with an ap or with a code and what have past prices for this suite been?

Thanks

Unfortunately these rooms are not discounted so if you think you might need an extra bathroom then you could probably get two standard rooms for the cost of the suite. The biggest draw really is the separate living/bedroom area. We also had a large cube refrigerator and sink in the wet bar area. Perfect for cleaning up without using our bathroom sink. I think we paid about 400 but had an extra adult charge to consider. For us and our group it was perfect! Plus our mousekeeper made a different towel animal for us each morning!! On the last day my husband and neice were still in the room when she came so we've got a picture of her with her creation!! Disney magic to be sure!

Yup - the living area has a sofa bed, two chairs and a TV cabinet as well as a table and two chairs. Our bedroom had two queen beds, 1 night table, an armoire for clothes, and another TV cabinet. That worked out well too. My niece would watch storytime in one room and my husband would watch sports in the other!!

CrzyforPiglet, it sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. Since you mentioned that the official WDW website has the layout for the room, I just went to it and found the layout for the "deluxe" room, which I am guessing is what you are talking about: click here for room's layout. It looks like a lovely room arrangement and one that I will keep in mind for a future trip. Thanks for your excellent WL room report.

We did have a great time!! The staff at WL was wonderful and of course our mousekeeper! That is the layout of the room EXCEPT in our room the wet bar is by the french doors and the space noted as a wet bar is a closet. Also there is no closet in the sleeping room - just an armoire that has hanging space, shelves, and a couple of drawers. It was perfect for my sister and her daughter.

Lastly the doors from the bathroom to either the sleeping area or the living area are pocket doors rather than swing. The door into the shower area does swing though.

I'm glad this will help you out!! Happy planning!

Sorry no concierge privileges. We were lucky enough to have one of the fireplace lounge areas to ourselves one afternoon. It was a great place to curl up with a book and watch the lobby.

CrzyforPiglet, thanks for all the info. I have stayed at the WL just once before and haven't given it much thought until I read your trip report. If you have any photos posted on-line, please post the link to them, as I would love to see what your room looked like.
