I bought my CROCS yesterday!

After reading all the great reviews about crocs, I decided to get myself a pair today. I got the beach style in black (figured they would go the best with jeans), they are definately funky, but I am hoping they are as comfy as everyone says.

We are leaving for Disney Friday for the weekend and I plan on wearing them. I hope I am not going to be sorry I didn't have longer to break them in , I am wearing them to work tomorrow and they are on right now. I usually wear sneakers, but by the end of the day my feet hurt so bad.

I am wearing them with socks, b/c I tried them on without and my feet were sweaty. I may wear them without sock to work however just to see. Now I have to get a bunch of dark socks so they blend with the black ha ha!!!

Thanks for the new shoe idea!

Thanks to everyone who helped answer my question. I am going to try a pair out and see how I like em...I will get black since it matches everything! :dog2: :goodvibes

I just bought a pair and wore them yesterday. They are comfortable, BUT, inside my instep, whrere the crocs connect to the strap, rubbed quite a bit. I wonder if I am just noticing it because they are different. I hope so! I am going to wear them again today and see if I can wear them longer. Anyone else experience this?

Can someone tell me if there is a style that would work for a sort of narrow foot? I tried a pair on just once and found them to be uncomfortable and gave up. I wear a six and a half. Thanks.

I have a pair of the Beach, two pair of the Niles, and two pairs of the Aspen. The Beach are by far the largest and the Aspen's are by far the smallest (and most narrow). In fact I normally wear a size 8M shoe and had to get a 9 in the Aspen. I've never worn a 9 in my life!

I've worn the Beach and the Niles in WDW twice and both times the Niles gave me a blister. The Beach didn't give me blisters, but were just OK. Thankfully both times I carried my Tevas to switch out with the Crocs. I guess I'm determined to find a pair of comfortable Crocs though, because now I've added two pairs of the Aspens, which I'll be taking down there in about 2 1/2 weeks, (along with my good old dependable Tevas).

In reference to the sweaty feet question, I think it depends on the type of Croc. I have a pair of Aspens (they are closed-toed with no holes) and they do make my feet sweaty. I also agree with the other poster who said the Aspens run a bit short. I still like them, though and plan to get a pair "with holes".

Yes they look like they'd be sweaty although their fans swear they're not. But they're made of rubber, right? How can that not be sweaty?
I went to the website, the black ones look like tires :p Not that I care about the looks, I wear Keen which is also sorta ugly but I don't think I'd trade them for Crocs.
No, they're not rubber. It's some kind of a resin. To me the material seems sort of like what packing peanuts are made of, only much more dense.

I have a pair of the Beach style (the one with holes). I wore them all summer without socks, including a week at WDW in late September/early October. My feet did not get sweaty, and the most amazing thing of all, they never smell at all even after wearing them without socks all day. I have never had a pair of shoes I could say that about. They claim to have an anti-microbial surface (whatever that means), so maybe that's why they don't make your feet stink.

Now that it's cooler, I'm wearing them with socks, and they're even more comfortable than they were without. I'm going to get a pair of Aspens (without holes) for the winter.

I have worn Crocs for about two years and they are wonderful! I work on my feet all day and suffered before I found Crocs. I have red, orange, brown, navy, beige, and two black. I hadn't discovered them before our last trip but several pair will be going with us to AKL in January. I wear the Ocean style, with holes, year round, socks, no socks, snow, no snow, wonderful.

I've worn my 2 new pairs non-stop since buying them Sunday. I am a Birkenstock girl, and these things are even better!!!!! I am loving them. I think they'll make a huge difference next week. :cool1:

I have a pair of orange crocs (they were the only colour in my size when I bought them this summer) and am looking to get another pair when I am down in Florida - Does anyone know a place around WDW where they are sold? I have a car so it doesn't matter where.

Also, where do they sell the children's sizes - my god daughter tries to wear mine everytime she comes over to my house, so I'd like to get her a pair (she's 11).

I just bought kids Crocs at Dillard's for my boys. Do you have Dillard's close by? I think they carry adults, also.

I think Dillards has them on-line also.

I bought them on the Crocs website.
I remember several months ago reading about people having lots of problems ordering from the crocs.com site - waiting for weeks on end for their order to arrive, bad customer service, stuff like that. How was your experience? I'm curious if it's gotten any better.

I agree! I wore mine this weekend while I shopped all day, and my feet didn't hurt at all AND for the price of my Birk's clogs, I could have bought four pairs of Crocs :rotfl:

Go to: http://www.dillards.com/endeca/EndecaStartServlet?N=1000425+2010507

They have kids' sizes as well as men's and women's. I ordered mine from the website, and got them quite quickly.

I am wondering if anyone has purchased the croc boot? I was wondering how it would be in the snow. I love my shoes but in the snow they are not an option. Way to deep :cold: If anyone has tried them on or purchased a pair I would love more information. Thanks.

I am watching for the thong to come out next. I can hardly wait. I was hoping it would come out in time for me get a pair for my trip the end of Dec.

I ordered them and received them without a hitch - within a week I think.
