I Booked Our Trip!!

Hi Everyone,
I had a thread awhile back asking a few questions about a possible trip, and I'm just wanting to tell people that I was able to book a trip formrself, my 4 kiddos, and 1 friend for sure and maybe another. I have five nights booked at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds. I saw a thread somewhere on here about renting campers and that is the route we are going! We are not really a camping family, but my kids have friends who camp and always want to try iy, so thought it would be a good way to "rough it" without really roughing it! Keeping the camper a surprise until we arrive. Thanks to all who answered my questions I'm sure I'll have more soon.

Thanks! I'm getting super excited now that it's "official". My kids don't know. Planning on telling them on Easter. I think I'm going to put autograph books and books for pressed penny's in their Easter baskets.

Speaking of pressed penny's, I've read that using the mini M&M containers work well to carry the penny's and quarters. Silly question, I'm sure, but do the penny's still fit in the container once they have been pressed? Just wondering if we will need to bring the books to the parks or can just put them in the books once we are back to our camper.

And since I'm here, I might as well ask another while I'm thinking of it. When prebooking fast passes can different people in our group book different rides? I know we can only do 3 at a park but can we each choose different rides or do we have to stick together since we are all on one reservation?

Have a great trip! We've always had so much fun at FW. And I love the idea for the surprise!

The mini m&m containers work well for the pennies and quarters, but not so well after they've been pressed. Mentos containers have the same size and shape as the pressed pennies, if you want to carry a second container. What we do is that we carry a coin purse with the pennies and quarters, and just the mentos container to fill up with the pressed pennies. I know I've found here somewhere a label that you can print for them (although I don't remember where).

Awesome!! When are you going?? I've considered camping at FW but hubby isn't crazy about the idea. We also have 4 kids so it can be hard to find good options.

We just got back and are already discussing our next trip, even though it probably won't be for 2-3 more years!
