I Booked It!!!! Shhhhh

I went and booked our package from Feb 21 to 29 2008 yesterday. I'm so excited I could burst but it's a surprise -- shhh -- don't tell DH or DD(15) until Christmas.

This will be our first time at DL. I want to see it all and do it all

Now I have to think of some creative way to wrap the tickets etc. for Christmas.

How exciting! Have fun planning and good luck with the Christmas gift surprise (sorry I have no suggestions) . Have a wonderful trip - you are going after Presidents Day, should be not too crowded.

We took our son,my brother and my sister to Disneyland as their Xmas present a couple of years ago. The way we wrapped the ticketss was by filling a small rubbermaid with Disney stuff they could use on the trip. We had Mickey playing cards, Pez dispensers, pens, paper, stickers and at the bottom we put a guide book to Disneyland. This time they know we're going to San Diego in February but have no idea we're going to Disneyland until we check into the hotel.

I think I might go to the Disney store here and buy matching t-shirts and wrap them with the tickets. Wouldn't that be cute? I know DD wouldn't be impressed -- she's at that age. LOL.

As I'm trying to do my research this weekend I saw that the Anaheim Ducks have a game. That can be part 2 of my surprise. I'll get them hockey tickets for their birthdays in January.

When are you going BC Disney Lover? We're from Alberta....

I have, in the past, gotten some Disney Dollars and given them to the recipient and when asked what they are for, present them with the tickets.

how exciting! I tried to keep it a secret from my dd(5) for our trip, but I couldn't do it. hahaha

What about finding a little mini stocking or something and hanging it on the tree and sticking the tickets in there on Christmas Eve.
