I booked a cabin for the first time!

Hi Campers!

I just switched my ressie from the WL to the FW cabins. I'm loving the room to spread out at the cabins, and since my kids love camping in general, I think they will find this resort "awesome"

Does anyone happen to know if there is a light outside the cabin door? Can you sit outside at the picnic table and play cards at night or whatnot?

And did I read correctly that there is a tv in the bedroom and one in the living room?

There is a light, 2 actually, outside the door although they aren't all that bright. They are the yellow bug deflecting bulbs. The cabins are awesome!!! We love the space and our children do too. There is a tv in the bedroom and 1 in the living area. Enjoy all that Fort Wilderness has to offer.

And here's my standard advice: bring small cups for the bathroom, salt and pepper, basket filters for the coffee pot, and foil/cookie sheet if you might bake a frozen pizza or make some ready bake cookies. Enjoy!

I was wondering if there is a tea kettle in the cabins? I like instant coffee.

The lights outside the cabins are not very bright. You might want to take a lantern to put on the picinic table so you can play cards...Have a great time.

We were there in August and I can't remember, but you can always heat up the water in the microwave.
