:confused3 Delta Song lowered there prices for my August trip to $69.00 each way for my August trip. We're going out of Logan on the 8:30 a.m. down and returning on the 3:15. I probably should have waited a little longer in hopes that the price would drop, but with the cost of gas on the rise I thought that $155.00 each (including tax) was a good price. What do you guys think? :confused3

I just booked for Oct on Song for the same price as you did. (From LGA in NY).

I have been racking my brains out comparing airfares on line. I checked & checked again & decided that $155 was "reasonable" considering rates may go up. The lowest I have seen people get here on these boards was $135 on Song so I don't think we did too bad. Have fun!

Wow! That's a great price. I booked through Southwest for July. I paid $87.80 per person one way (taxes included - $79 without taxes) for a total of $175.40 round trip per person . So I would say that $155 is a fantastic price. I am flying out of Providence and Song flies out of Boston. I wish Song flew from Providence, I would have booked through them. Good for you!!!!!! :goodvibes

i jumped the gun and bought delta tix from providence - $201 - and a change in Atlanta
we avoid Logan

shelby--I think you got a good price. They 'might' go down a little, but with projected fuel price increases, they could also go up up up. I'd say you did just fine.

Also to another poster, flying Delta out of Logan is about to get REALLY easy. Delta's new Terminal A is just about ready to open, and once that does, there will be no more 'grand tour' of Logan, it's the first terminal, and you don't have to loop ALL THE WAY around to get out of Logan, there is a surface road that brings you right back. I would go to Logan in a heartbeat to avoid a stop/plane change.

that's the same price we paid for Song out of Logan in August. I bought mine a while back and I have been watching to see if it has gone lower so I could get a voucher for the difference. The price has remained the same since I bought mine. I wonder if it will get any lower than $155 RT. In 2002, we were able to get RT on AA for $110 per person, so I was hoping for something close to that, but $155 is close enough. Plus, I was able to pick our flights and our seats, so I was happy.

airlines are much higher for nonstop. I think there will be sales as the time gets closer, but I have never, ever paid less than 135. (I consider 150-175 to be a great price for past year's trips). I figured "better safe than sorry" and booked it. Even if all the other airlines have sales, I doubt I will get 135. again. I will miss Jetblue, though!

I wouldn't give it a second thought! That sounds like a really good price!

I agree Shelby.....sounds like a great price to me!!
