but why did they send me an e-mail for Florida residents only? Did anyone else get this? Maybe this is a sign that I'm supposed to pack up and head south, lol! Made me wonder, tho, since they think I live in Florida....
I have gotten a few for FL resident/Passholders, then I remembered that I had made some reservations for a friend that moved to FL and they have my e-mail address for her, so I get all these offers. I guess she never gave them her e-mail address
I have been receiving email offers for another family for almost a year now. Apparently this family is from FL because those are the deals that get sent. I asked Disney Destinations to fix their database a while ago but they said it can take up to 8 months for it to get thru the system.
We get them all the time, but I think it's because my mother (who lives in Florida) meets us at Disney and they had our rooms linked together. They are really consolidating their systems because the last time that I called they had every last e-mail address that I've used in the past to book and my dh's.
The "Florida" e-mails are new. I've been getting Paris e-mails for a couple of years now...which, since we did back-to-back years of Disney trips I could understand. I may have fooled them into thinking I could afford yearly trips, lol! I've been toying with the idea of applying for jobs in the Orlando area for a couple of years now. Considering how powerful Disney is, it tickles me to think that maybe they know something I don't, and that I should go ahead and fill out those applications!
