I called last night to have the 40% pin offer applied to my res on 8/15, we have a second res from 8/16-8/22 with free dining. The lady took my conf number, name and pin number. PROBLEM…the name associated with the pin offer is my maiden name. Then the lady asked for my address, once again PROBLEM…the address with the pin offer is my old address not my current one. The lady, very rudely(which surprised me), said I was not able to use the offer since this is not my current household. Finally, she decided to ask someone about it, but made sure to tell I should expect to be on hold for a while before she would come back to the line, once again very rudely. Well, I’m expecting the wait to be 5-10 min, since it seems she really didn’t want to help me, but after about 30 sec she was back and said that the pin could be applied. How during that time I was on hold, I don’t know what she did but when she returned to the line she was very pleasant like every other Disney rep I have ever talked to. My pin saved me $67.50 for 1 night!! I also asked her how I go about having the information associated with my pins changed so I don’t have this problem in the future. Now everything else I have with Disney has my correct info, I even received pin offers in the mail with my correct address. She told me this is something I will have to deal with and that my name nor address cannot change for my pin info. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this changed?

That happened to me too. I wasn't applying it, but I did want to get a quote with the pin discount to see if we could afford it. The pin was in my maiden name at my parents' address and the CM I spoke with wouldn't even quote it for me with the pin since they didn't match up with my married name and current address. I finally gave up, since it was a "pipe dream" trip anyway. I would have faught way harder if it was a trip we already had booked. It is frustrating.

Me too! This happened two days ago. I've been married 10 years and have received codes under my married name since! Something must be up with their computers. Maybe it's reverting to old files when it sends out the codes. :dance3:

My husband and I only get PINs at our old email addresses which are no longer "on file" with Disney. We have updated everything that we can think of, and yet, we still don't get the PINs sent to our current email addresses. Luckily we can still access our old emails and check to see anything is there. Their PIN database must keep the first information you enter and never update when you make changes with them.:confused3

Mine came in my maiden name too...but the CM changed it to my married name for me. everything else matched, email, address..all.
he was nice.

but then I couldn't use the pin anyway....so all that for nothing. ;)
