I am well fed up

After being told I have a job in matalan, and I should have a phone call this week to go on the induction, I phoned today to find out that matalan phoned on Monday and have now filled my place-sorry no job here for you now because you weren't in when i phoned your place has been filled.
I am going straight down to see the manager tomorrow as I think this is extrememly unprofessional of them.

If you don't get anywhere with the manager tomorrow then I would phone their Head Office and maybe the citizens advice bureau.

That is really bad of them i would certainly get some thing sorted. I was promised a job last year i told my employer i was leaving then 3 weeks later they told me the job no longer existed. Luckily i am now in a better job anyway.

That's terrible, surely they can't do that after offering you the job?, what did they want you to do, sit in and wait all week for their phone call , that's totally unrealistic , give the manager what for tomorrow.
