I am very upset...MYW

I thought that might be the case. But with mention of 7 day tickets, 1 day tickets, and 10 day tickets I'm confused. I don't see what the problem could be. If a 7 day ticket isn't enough, then why not buy a 10 day? It's only about $10 more per ticket. Why even think of buying a one day ticket?
The OP's quote had a $100 difference between the 7 day and the 10 day for 4 people.

And I think the PAP expires before their trip but could perhaps be renewed for this trip if the price (room discount) is right! :)

I got online, if you go to tickets only and punch in how many days you want, only listed is 7, click 7 then on the next page the 10 ticket is listed. Priced b4 tax, I pretended to buy one to get the price with tax...$1097 w park hopper/and extras. I am leaning towards doing this. UNLESS AP rates come out for that time frame. I have a PAP and hoping good rates come out....
Double check the 7 day price with tax.

From the website I get for 2 adults 2 kids:
7 day with hopping & plus: 1062.63 (998 + 64.96 tax)
10 day with hopping & plus: 1097.02 (1030 + 67.02 tax)

Difference: $34.39

It looks like the $998 quote was without tax.

Hope that helps you decide!!

Thank you, that does.

I did call the AP line last night, got a really nice CM on the phone. He believed there will be AP discounts for the end of April "SOON". I may just hold off buying tickets all together until a month from now, see if rates become available. If not, just change hotels, or try to save enough for rack rate at the GF. My parents are joining us this year and want to stay at the GF, just once. Hopefully then I will renew my pass, and by my DH, and two DD's myw 10 passes.

Thank you for your patience...and help.

the problem with the 7 day pass is that on the 8th day you have to pay either a 1 day ticket or for the entry into the water park...

A 7 day ticket with plus options gives you 11 admissions, 7 of which are park hopper days and 4 are plusses for waterparks, pleasure island and Disney Quest. If you don't take the no expire option, you have 14 days to use these 11 admissions. You shouldn't have to buy a new ticket for day 8, unless I am misunderstanding your plans.

With the new MYW passes you get 5 plus options. (More time for us to spend at Disney Quest! :cool1: )

For our April trip we really need 8 day tickets. We like to go to a major park each day of our trip. If we do a water park or DisneyQuest in the morning, we'll go to one of the major parks in the evening.

When I called AAA this morning, I was told that I could upgrade the number of days on our MYW passes when I check in. There's no other way to purchase the 10 MYW passes with a package.

Wow, DisneyJunkie,
you must have a lot of stamina!
I'd be exhausted if we didn't take a rest day out of 8 days.,

we go full speed ahead, as well. Take breaks for about 3 hours in the afternoon at the pool, then wash up get dinner and head back to one of the parks till bedtime...or the girls get cranky whichever comes first...LOL

I cannot wait, almost time for my 90 day ressies.

does AAA discount the passes? I know we're still waiting to find out if they discount the dining.

It seems that if you don't want dining, there's no reason to buy a package anyway. The price is the same as room only, the cancellation policy is worse, and anyone can get the same price on tickets without a package.

I just don't get it! If you don't want the dining, why would you want this package? Maybe the airport transportation?

I don't see any reason to buy a package if you're not interested in the dining option. As far as I know, if you mean the new free transportation Disney is offering in May, that is available to anyone with or without a package.
