I just ordered my sister a Kindle for Hannukah. Tell me I am not the greatest sister ever. My sister is always reading, always spending tons of money on books, and when we go on vacation, always dragging tons and tons of books with her, so I think this should solve the problem. I just hope it will be here on time, since I did the free shipping. If not, I'll just give her a picture of it.

I use my PDA for ebooks, but man do I want a Kindle...just can't justify it when my PDA does the job lol.

Basically, the Kindle is a portable library. It can store up to 1500 books, which should be plenty for any reading nut on vacation. I got her the regular Kindle, not the DX, which can store more. And the part that you read off of is not lit like a computer screen, it looks like an actual book page, so you don't have to worry about glare or your eyes getting tired. The books are cheaper too, I think they're all around $9.99, when most books in the bookstore cost closer to $20 nowadays.

The best part is that she has no clue Most years, she knows what she's getting because she's usually picked it out already. But not this year. This will be her when she gets the gift:
