I had to share this..... I just called Disney Dining to make a PS for the California Grill in April. I'm just aboout jumping out of my skin with excitement!!! I LOVE calling Disney! My co-workers just don't understand, they'll just laugh and roll their eyes! But I know, everyone here can relate!!

I love to call for a PS...it makes the vacation seem more real. We understand. :)

PS. Hi Rhonda from a fellow Newfoundlander (at heart)...I went to MUN (although my university days were many moons ago ;)) :wave2:

Oh I can totally relate :) Making a PS and getting the one you want is so exciting! My coworkers are the same ... they wonder how I can know 2-3 months ahead of time where and when I want to eat. Have you timed your PS so that you can see Wishes?

My co-workers feel that I am in need of an "intervention". I read them your post ... I think that they think I am the only person really on these boards and that I make it all up!

This trip will be upon you in no time !!

My co workers always ask if it is a stage I am going through and if I will ever grow out of it. I just tell them no and one guy I work with was not to keen on Disney that is untill he took his wife and daughter in Jan now he is in love with the place and wants to go every year. So that makes one conversion to our side only 106 more to go hehehe

See I knew I wasn't the only one who gets excited!

Hi DisneyLisa - nice to know there's a fellow NFLDer out there. Not too many of us on the board. Which really surprises me since so many go to Florida. It's like a second home down there!!

Bunnyfoo - I made the PS for 7:30. Wishes is at 9:00. I'm hoping I have timed it correctly. Time will tell!!

As a side note, one of my co-workers thinks that it is great that I have a passion. She wishes she had something that she could get so excited about! I keep telling her that I can plan a trip for her to Disney in no time!!! Then she'll have the same passion!

My co-workers can't believe that I'm not going again til October. They no longer bother to ask where I'm going on vacation just ask what beanies I'm bringing back.

It's wonderful to be obsessed about WDW. It helps get through the snow.

Hi Disney 2003,

One suggestion re the California Grill...sit as far away from the entrance to the restaurant as possible. When my DD and I went last year, we were the first table. Being so close to the waiting area was so loud and noisey. A lot of tired parents on chairs and their children ( with all the energy of nuclear power plant ) running and screaming all over the place. Now people don't get me wrong, I understand that this is Disney, families, kids etc..., I just want you to know that further away from the waiting area is a little more pleasant for conversation.
We had a window seat, but we could not see out as the mositure and humidity on the windows ( Aug) made it almost impossible. We were able to glimpse a little bit but it would have been neat if we had window wipers!!
The food is excellent and we enjoyed our meal very much.:D
Hope yours is great also.
Wenabre:)

During our dinner at the GC last May-we not only saw the fireworks but also witnessed a beautiful wedding proposal!!
A dozen red roses, balloons, Mickey/Minnie ring box and champagne-absolutely magical!!
