I'm trying to be fair and accurate in describing what happened. My husband was not injured, but only because he stepped back. The guy did touch him with his chest/shoulder. We were not questioned for three hours straight, multiple people talked to us multiple times.
How we know they let the guy go is that they told us so. They told us that getting scolded by law enforcement and the Disney security gets people to calm down and not do it again.
I however think that it could go either way, the guy could get even more aggravated.
They did ask what we wanted, initially I asked to go backstage on a particular attraction, they said no. Asked for one of the tours, also a no, resort upgrade for only one night, any room that will go empty, also a no. But aftrreach request he left to check with someone, never offered any similar alternatives, only fast passes, and they were offering a single one to an specific ride.
Why ask me what I want if I don't really have an option? Specially when I'm upset. That's messed up. They should never offer to call the cops if it's not warranted as some of you say, or to get our statements. I would have preferred further to be upfront from the Start and not pretend that they were going to do anything.
