I just went to the DCL website to book Palos for our cruise in September with the REAS package. There is virtually nothing left!! We are traveling with another family and wanted to eat at Palo's together (the 2 couples) but I see nothing for a party of 4. I can't find the Rasul on the spa reservation list so I fear it is all gone. I can't believe this! Does Disney hold any reservations until boarding? Are there waiting lists? I hope someone can help!

Yes, they do hold some spots for Palo upon boarding...IF you can get there early you stand a great chance, and then if not, you could always be on standby, not much fun, but an option..

I believe that there is no advance booking for Rasul, that is done upon boarding..

Good Luck,
I am sure it will all work out...We got 2 spots for Palo last September last minute, as this is generally the quietest sailing period... :goodvibes

Have you tried booking two parties of two for Palo? We had to do that then asked to link those two reservations. It worked fine.

Are you under the 60 day mark now? If so, that would explain it because everyone on the ship has been able to book by now. I thought that the REAS package allowed you to book at 90 days???

I heard from another thread.....that you should book the 2 and as soon as you get on board, change it to 4. That way you have the reservation, it's just adding 2 people. That is what we did for our Repo cruise next month. ;)

Good luck,
Travis

When i learned about the booking in advance I said to my wife forget about going to Palo's on our next cruise...and it seems that I was right. It should have stayed the way it was before for reservations...1st come 1st served.... :sad2:

Which sailing? My son booked at the 90 day window for the week of Sept 10. Hmmm maybe engagement time? He is going with his GF of 2.5 yrs.
What is Rasul?

LOL! Let's just say that it would be a great couples treatment that they can enjoy on their honeymoon. ;)

People on the REAS package can book at 105 days in advance...We are on this package too and I hope that we can grab a Palo's reservation. Looks like I will need some luck!

Michelle2, I doubt that you will have a problem at all. It seems that the problem is the fact that the OP didn't try to book at the 105 window. The last cruise of 9/05 is 9/24 and that would have been 6/10. With returning cruisers booking at 6/26 and all cruisers at 7/10. It makes perfect sense to me that after the 75 day mark everything available online would be booked.

I would book your reservation for 2 and have them book their reservation for 2 and then call Palo when you get to your room and have them combine the reservations.

That is what I had to do. I booked two 2 people reservations for Palo for a group of four. Then I called DCL, and she linked us together. I was told by the CM that what they show online is not all they have, that they do hold out for cruisers who (i.e) don't have internet access. Also not all spa products are online.
My other question for CM was what if the night we booked is the night of AP light show, what would we do, since I don't want to miss that, and her answer was that as soon as I find out our dinign rotation, to go to Guest Services or the reservations desk and get it changed, and there shouldn't be a problem. Although we should be able to douple dip for that night...

Just so you know the Rasul is not included in the REAS package. There is a choice of only two types of massages. You may have some luck at the Spa if you go and talk to them when boarding but my TA strongly worded that the REAS massage choices were limited. :flower:

Anyone know what time the Online reservations open? :flower:
