Then if it makes you feel better, I would still call your husband at least when you are working over so he doesn't worry. I do that when I am not going to be home at the expected time and so does my husband. Maybe your mom doesn't understand your anxiety.
It's turned into a habit--calling or texting too much. Just try to catch yourself before you do it and stop yourself. It'll take a while not to find yourself wanting to or just doing it but you CAN do it!!
