I Am So Scared .... PLEASE PRAY!!!!

DH just called me and said we needed to talk. He just had his routine bi-annual checkup with the dr. for his asthma and allergies and he mentioned these unusual headaches that he has been having. We thought it was just sinus but based on what the dr. asked him, etc. he is now scheduled for a CT scan and a possible spinal tap for Wednesday afternoon!

The dr. is concerned about a cranial aneurysm. He told DH to get to the ER immediately if he has another headache between now and Wed.

I don't know a whole lot about aneurysms but what I do know is very bad. DH is not home yet because he needed to stop by Wal-Mart to buy diapers. I know I need to stay strong for him right now because he is obviously scared. If you could please pray for us to have the strength I would appreciate it.

Keep it together until you have a chance to be alone or with someone who can handle it, and then fall apart temporarily. Allow yourself a period of time where you can cry, vent, anything you want to do. But get practical and calm before you see him again.
Just keep it together because he needs you right now. You can do it.

Saying prayers for you and your DH Becka. My uncle recently had surgery for an aneurysm on his aorta right near his heart (actually I should say this was a year ago). He is doing fine now and he has two more they plan to operate on and fix in the future. I hope for the same good fate for your DH as my uncle has {{{hugs}}}

I know this is impossible, but try not to panic. It could be nothing at all. If they think it is something, they will need to do an MRA of the brain...similar to an MRI but it highlights the vessels better. Please let us know.

Prayers for DH and you. We will all pray that everything works out all right.

Keep the faith girl. If it is an aneurysm, and they can do something about it before it ruptures, he will be way ahead of the game. My aunt had one they caught before it ruptured, did surgery and she lived a very long, normal life afterwards. It's the "silent" ones that don't give off many warning signs and rupture before catching them that can be of a much more serious nature. So, if that is what DH has, he has been "watched over" before it became "un-do-able".

Hang in there Becka, keep us posted, and come to us any time you need us.
