I am so pathetic

DH and DD15 went to see Benjamin Button tonight. I CAN NOT do tear jerkers -- they are a sure-fire migraine trigger. So I stayed home with DD9 to watch Wife Swap and Super Nanny. And of course started crying during Super Nanny. How pathetic is that?

Were tear jerkers always hard foryou or only after you had kids?
I used to be quite the hard one until I had kids.
My oh my how they chaged that!

I was coming on to ask about Super Nanny. I missed the 1st 30 mins. Who was "Nana" and where is her husband and family?

Nana had been the mother's nanny when she was a little girl, and then was her kids' nanny. She held the family together after the divorce, and the mom really depended on her. She had recently died of breast cancer.

The mom was dealing with divorce, the loss of her home, and the loss of her support system.

And teacups, my MIL took DD9 to see Marley and Me. Another one I knew I couldn't handle.

DD15 says I would have been sobbing within the 1st five minutes of Benjamin Button. It's a good thing I didn't go. It was good father/daughter time anyway. I've always been this way with crying. It doesn't take much.
