I am sick and tired of going by the rules at work when it comes to cumstmers but then the owner and his sisters change them for people and make me looklike the fool. I am so mad

Isn't it aggravating? DH's boss is like that. Makes you want to just pinch their heads off. Grrrr.

Although I don't really agree with the adage "the customer is always right", it sounds like this may not be the field for you, dealing with customers. You have to be a very patient type of person to be able to deal with John Q. Public.

Doesn't it make your blood boil? I once had a job like that. Someone would make a request and I would go in and ask the boss if it could be done. After she said no, I would tell the person we couldn't do it. Then they would call my boss and she would say it was fine. Makes you look either stupid or uncooperative. Maybe both!

FOJMO, I have been working with the public since I was 18. I am not upset with the public, I have learned over the yrs you have to grin and bear it alot of times. What I am upset about it it is a family business and they make me look like I am an idiot after telling me NO, she can't do it that way then they change their tune and tell her she can, then made me look like the *******. I think it is time for me to look for another job, I don't like to be treated like a dope.

Sorry, Gail. I think I misread your post. I get it now and I can sympathasize with you. They're changing the rules to suit the customer and you're left looking stupid.
