I was planning on a late Nov trip to WDW. Well airfare is very high, my kids would have to be taken out of school and my work only allows us to take 2 days at a time that time of year.
Well I consoled myself thinking about planning a 7 day Disney cruise next summer. Now, I know I am the LAST one to realize this, but no 7 day cruises that stop at Castaway Cay all next summer:(
I am VERY bummed!
Anyone relaize I might be wrong (she says hopefully!)?

All of the seven day cruises from May-August 2005 will be leaving out of California on a Pacific coast cruise. Sorry. If you want to go to Castaway Cay you will have to book after September 3, 2005.

I feel your pain. I booked a cruise in August 2003 for August 2004, only to have to cancel it because we had the neighbors from hell and were forced to move (it was either that or get a restraining order ). I also thought I'd plan a 7 night cruise for June 2005 to make up for it, only to find out that the Magic was moving to the west coast next summer. Since the west coast itinerary doesn't thrill me, I looked into cruising over Columbus Day 2005, only to find out the Magic will be dry docked then. So, we are now booked for Nov 5, 2005. It's a long wait, but it will be worth it in the end.

How about doing back to back three and four night cruises? That way you'd get to CC twice!!

Hmmmm...
Would I have to pack up and move out and back in again?

Probably not. A few people on the boards have done back-to-back cruises, and I think it's up to the Customs/Immigration staff as to whether you have to get off the ship on the turnaround day. I think most often they allow you to stay on board. I think that if you have the same room for both trips, you can leave your luggage in the room, even if they want you to get off.

:o Sorry about no summer 7 dy cruises:confused: . I also was looking forward to seven day at the end of May, but the Magic is leaving for a dream summer in LA.. So I did the next best thing and booked the western on May 7,2005 beforeit leves. Just DW and I are going this time... Hope your dream comes true and good luck..--James

Why don't you post a thread and ask specifically about back-to-back cruises? Then you would get responses from those who have done them.

Good luck with the plans.

Me too. We did WDW this year and planned on doing a Disney cruise in 2005. Then I found out no 7 day Western in summer 2005.
