I am so excited!

My DH deployed about a month ago. So I have been working and picking the kids up, cooking dinner and then plop down in front of computer. Well I got invited to a crop on Saturday. I have scrapped for years but got into a funk. This is so what I needed to break the cycle and think about all the good times we have had. The crop cost $10 for 6 3 hour session. It is on post. I just can't wait to get the creative juices flowing again. And then I can get some more great ideas from this board. Thanks for letting me share my excitement!

When you talk to your DH tell him we said thanks for serving our country. And thank you for your silent service. DH is ex Navy, I know deployments can be hard and you get into a rut just passing time. Hopefully we can help you pass the time til he comes home.

dh is retired USAF. Deployments suck. On the other hand, they give us a chance to stretch ourselves, too. My hat is off to both of you. (And you and your hubby, too, Susan) It's a tough life but rewarding, too.
