I am so excited to share our DVC memebership!

I love it when I know of someone who has never been to Disney, or has been so long ago, a new trip would be just like going for the 1st time because so many things have been added.

I have invited a friend of mine to join us next year at Thanksgiving. Her DH is a teacher, and he does not want to go during the summer or school breaks ( crowds) so Thanksgiving would be doable for him. He would only miss 2.5 days of school.

They could not believe I extended an invitation to them. But their 5 yo DD is best friends with my 5 yo DD and I think we will all have a blast! Anyway, I thought she told me the last time they went was in 1996. I was excited because I know how much Disney has added since then, that they haven't seen. Well, she corrected me, and it has been since 1991 that they were there last!!!! OMG! That is like the Stone Age!!! Now I am sooooo excited. They ahve never seen ToT, RnRC, Disnasaur, Alin Encounter, BUZZ LIGHTYEAR. Pretty much EVERYTHING! I mean, wasn't Splash Mountain brand new in 91?

Now I am so excited, I can't even wait for December to be able to book the room!!! They almost fell over when I told them I did not want any money for the room. That alone is going to save them a ton of money! I LOVE DVC!!!!

We really like sharing our DVC as well. Makes you feel good to share the Disney experience with others.

In fact we are taking friends with us in October.
It is their first trip and they are taking their grandson who is 5. It will be a new experience for us because we will see WDW through the eyes of a child for the first time!
And we are taking a 13 year old with us in January.
She has had a very difficult childhood and would never get this type of opportunity if we didn't share with her.
DH and I don't have any children, so being able to share DVC with our family and friends is the ultimate treat!

We are taking my mom, sister and B.I.L in Dec. I am very excited too!!!! I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see a two bedroom at OKW for the first time!!! My sister has never stayed on site and her husband has NEVER even been to Disney!!!

We would not be able to do this if not for our DVC. It really is magical.

I know you mean!!! We just invited some good friends to go with us next year the week after Thanksgiving. Our kids are all the same ages and are really good friends and I know we'll have a great time. They did go to WDW last year, but they did everything WRONG and were sick half the trip. We're looking forward to showing them the RIGHT way to do Disney ..............especially during the holiday season. It will also be our first trip using our points for a 2 Br and we are looking forward to that. Hopefully we won't spoil ourselves (who am I kidding?) as we still need to make use of studios for a few more years to support our two trip a year habit.

In May we had already made reservations for Coronado with our 20 piece travelling band (family) this December, but believe me, when we purchased in July, I was calculating what we could do to share the magic for this trip and cover everyone's room.

Didn't work out this time, but we are waiting to announce our purchase to most of the family when we're together in December and our plans to share the magic for years to come!

Planning on how many rooms you can get, where, who to invite, and for how long is part of the fun!
