I am so confused

Ok, I have seen a couple threads where people say they found these things from vmk's database. I know this is going to sound very dumb, but I am really computer illiterate. What is this database thing and how do you find out what is in? I am very confused.

People have a link to the VMK database. The database is where they hold like.. codes or something with pictures.

You REALLY shouldn't be doing this.. But some people do.

How do you think people found VMK stories lol?
