I am so confused! Disney's reservation system must be possessed!

I am trying to reserve a bunk bed room at the AKL. When I type in my actual dates, all I get is the standard view. But if I type in a date range that includes but is longer than the dates I really want, I get the bunk bed option.

I am tempted to reserve the longer date range and then call to cancel just the few extra days at the beginning. Would this let me get the bunk beds during the dates I will actually be there, or will the reservation people cancel my complete reservation and tell me to start over?

Don't chance it, call or better yet, try again in the morning. The online system is a bit wacky!

The one thing I really like about the online reservation, was the ability to make online payments. Maybe this can be done with phone reservations. It wasn't my "process" so I can't confirm one way or another.

Everytime I even try to look at dates for 2008, it sends me back to today. I only wanted a quote! I'm so frustrated, I don't think I'll ever go directly through them!

Are you using Safari? I have the same problem with safari on m y mac. When it goes back to todays date click on edit. It should then go to the correct dates.

If you make the reservation on the phone with them, you're till able to make payments on the website.

The ADR system is just as wacky! I tried to make reservations for 2 people for 8 am and was told it was unavailable, the only time I could have is around 10:30 AM..I called back and checked if I could make a reservation for 3 people and I had my choice of times from 7:30 on...So very weird.

Personally, I'd make the ressie for longer and then just call and change it.

For some reason ( I had this problem too) they seem to like to hold on to the more popular rooms for longer stays online. I would call ( tell them you see it is available for some of your dates) you might have better luck if you call. As far as being able to check dates, I always go to the home page, plug in my dates and then pick my resort. If I go to the resort first, and then plug in my dates it tells me I have to call. The site is somewhat messed up, I agree.

Thats because you are requesting two different size tables, there are more tables available to seat 4 people, then 2 or even 5 or more.
