I am so bored

Hi

I am so bored. You can probably tell that I dont ever come off this site recently.

Since my arm is plaster I cant really do anything. I cant even go for a walk or take the boys to the park. I just cant use my left hand. The cast is so big there is only a few things I can do with it. Poor Bruce he has to even put my hair up I cant get my arm round.

The kids are playing nicely and there is only so much day time TV you can watch. I have not been out at all for two days and still have another 3 days. Oh my. Bruce is wondering why I am a bear with a sore head. Already I am going stir crazy.

For instance. Tonight Bruce is going shopping and he said he will go after work and I stay here while he goes on his own. So I stay in and so does the boys. I know he means well and wants the kids to go to bed on time, but at the same time its frustrating.

I cant wait till Monday and have my cast removed. Fingers crossed all will be ok for me and I can return back to work. Why is it as soon as your off you want to be back again. Unless your in WDW then you never want to leave.

Sorry to moan, but at least it gave me 5 mins of entertainment.

Hi Michelle, yes it is soooooo boring just sitting watching tv, and don't get me started on the ads, I feel like throwing something at the set. Don't worry Monday will soon be here, then you'll be back at work wishing for a day off

Hi Michelle - I am sorry to hear that you are so fed up. I have been lucky that I have been able to come back to work this week, I did a couple of hours yesterday and a full day today, but then again they didn't plaster me. It was a relief to get back to work, I couldn't take much more Philip and Fern - and the adverts - I am now an expert on who to ring if I need to claim for an accident that was not my fault or to get my finances in order through debt consolidation LOL.
Seriously though I know it does get very boring, fingers crossed that you will be able to do a bit more soon. I really think that Bruce is just trying to help you out by shopping on his way home, Ian was doing that last week also....
I wonder if I would have been so keen to return to work if I wasn't going to see Mickey next week - the doctor wanted me to take another ten days sick leave but they are pretty good where I work, so I haven't had to do a lot anyway !

Thanks for your kind words and support. Bruce took me shopping tonight it was great just to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

LOL You sound exactly like me, in the last month of my last pregnancy. I wrote a post too, complaining about how bored, and how fat I was. I was two days overdue, with an almost 9lb baby, and I could barely move. I completely sympathize. Hang in there!

Thanks for asking. I am okay today. A little bored. So I have decided to look into DVC to try and take my mind off it. Bruce booked the boys into nursery so they could have a break from me. I cant really play with them and they are getting bored bless them.

I am also looking into villas to rent next year as well. Just tring to keep busy as well as being with the boys.

I just phoned my ward I was due back to work on Monday night, but they have covered it with flexi so my shift is covered. Even though my cast may be off on Monday I wont be due back now till a week Sat. Oh my.

Well I'm glad things are getting better for you . With the my two babies my days are getting a little frustrating. The two year old is into everything, and the little one doesn't want me to put her down for more that a few minutes. Somedays she's so good, and puts herself to sleep, and kicks around lying on her back, and other days, she's just so fussy!

Hannah on the other hand, so far this week has broken one of our good glasses, pulled milk bags out of the fridge, taken a broom handle and knocked a picture off the wall, breaking the glass. AAAAaaaahhhhhhh!! She's really not a bad kid, just busy! Anyway, hope your days are getting better.

Oh poor you. Sounds as though your busy. I am work so I have my boys with me they are 2 and twin boys and a daughter aged 6. My boys are into everything at the moment. They are little monkeys. I feel for you.

Sorry I haven't posted sooner (must have slipped past me). I completely understand about being bored at home, especially when Playhouse Disney is the only channel on. Actually I think I might like Little Einsteins more than Charlie now....anyway, can sympathise and only hope you can get back to normal soon. I'd suggest catching up on some movies you haven't seen yet on DVD. Glad Bruce is looking after you and sending for a speedy recovery,

Hi Claire,

No worries its a busy board. At the moment the boys like Nick Jnr. Its Nick Jnr all day. How many times do I watch Lazy Town or Peppa Pig. They used to wach Disney channel, but its not on until Casey gets in. She loves Disney cinemagique.

I used to love Playhouse. Bear was my favourite and closely followed by Jo Jo. I am 27 and I still watch kids TV.
