I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

From AK to MK.

Have never eaten at Tony's and well the menu just doesn't excite me. I do love BoG for Lunch and well the Plaza is now a great one to pick up.

Not being able to get a nap in is the worst! Since COP of out of sync did that mean it looked pretty much like you were watching a dubbed over Asian movie? haha! That's all I would be able to think about.

Can you tell me where that Dumbo statue was? I've never seen it before and would love to get a picture of it for my boys when I go in March. They won't be with me since I'll be chaperoning the senior trip with my school. It'll be fun to bring some pictures back of things they haven't seen.

Just playing ketchup…. :smokin: Only 11 pages behind- again. :rolleyes2

Looks like the girls had a fun time at DisneyQuest. We've never been in there but maybe we'll make some time next summer since we got PAP's. :confused3

I love Raglan Rd. One of my favorite restaurants! How cool the girls got called up on stage.

HOW dare you give those lovely's Starbucks? You are a bad bad baby!

Continuing on….

I'm shocked you didn't have a good meal at Tusker House. We've eaten there the last 2 trips because we loved it so much. Hopefully it was an off day and not a trend.

EE is one of Juliana's favorites… good thing we aren't meeting up in AK. :rotfl2:

I believe this was the day the girls were determined to torcher me. First EE, then COP and NOW this:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh you just wait. :rolleyes1

We had an ok experience at Tony's but that was a few years ago. The sauce is mediocre at best (I tried Melody's). Luckily I was smart and got the NY strip. :lmao:

And with that folks, I'm all caught up!!!!! :woohoo:

Great update. The food is making me hungry lol

Sorry Emma; but I know how you feel reading TR's and seeing all the food.

I saw Beast in the background of one of your picks. If he is in Disneyland he is sooooooo coming home with me :goodvibes

I'm sure he'll be there somewhere.

The Irish Mickey and Minnie were on sale the last day I was in Dublin. :goodvibes

I'll just make the kids go back and get them for me.

such torture :rotfl: I love IASW, it's so classic to me. Of course I grew up in California and like the one there better, just for the exterior entrance, which understandably wouldn't work in Florida with all the possible rain.

I will say if we get to DL net year, I will look forward to riding the one there; but I'll deny I said that if anyone asks.:rotfl:

Oh you're nearly done if you only have one more full day :sad1: but guess can't be too sad since you have another trip coming up soon :)

One day and a morning to go. Yes luckily we leave in 23 days.

From AK to MK.

Yes...and such different parks, but so full of magic.

Have never eaten at Tony's and well the menu just doesn't excite me. I do love BoG for Lunch and well the Plaza is now a great one to pick up.

Trust me, after two years in a row, it doesn't excite me either. Still hoping to get BOG next month.

Not being able to get a nap in is the worst! Since COP of out of sync did that mean it looked pretty much like you were watching a dubbed over Asian movie? haha! That's all I would be able to think about.

Now that is funny; yes, it was probably very similar. :rotfl2:

Can you tell me where that Dumbo statue was? I've never seen it before and would love to get a picture of it for my boys when I go in March. They won't be with me since I'll be chaperoning the senior trip with my school. It'll be fun to bring some pictures back of things they haven't seen.

Yes, it is in the hub with all of the others...Goofy, Chip and Dale, etc.

Just playing ketchup…. :smokin: Only 11 pages behind- again. :rolleyes2

Nice pun on words, Tim. I think you missed an update though...our big DIS meet last weekend.

Looks like the girls had a fun time at DisneyQuest. We've never been in there but maybe we'll make some time next summer since we got PAP's. :confused3

Not much for the little ones to do other than Juliana; put it off as long as you can.

I love Raglan Rd. One of my favorite restaurants! How cool the girls got called up on stage.

I love it too; it is the one restaurant that Nicki and I have ever disagreed on...she hated it.

HOW dare you give those lovely's Starbucks? You are a bad bad baby!

:rotfl::rotfl: it could have been worse; I could have given them a Slush. ;)

Continuing on….

I'm shocked you didn't have a good meal at Tusker House. We've eaten there the last 2 trips because we loved it so much. Hopefully it was an off day and not a trend.

It wasn't horrible, just not as good as it had been previously. It seemed there wasn't as much variety either.

EE is one of Juliana's favorites… good thing we aren't meeting up in AK. :rotfl2:

There's always Mr. Mark for that (and he'll do Rock & Roll with her).

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh you just wait. :rolleyes1

Does all that laughter mean I am doing IASW with your kids? I guess I can suffer it once for those cuties.

We had an ok experience at Tony's but that was a few years ago. The sauce is mediocre at best (I tried Melody's). Luckily I was smart and got the NY strip. :lmao:

I'll take Olive Garden any day over Tony's.

And with that folks, I'm all caught up!!!!! :woohoo:

For how long?

We decided to head to COP (I needed a nap).

:rotfl2: That would definitely be the place to do it.

That is until the attraction was totally off whack and off sync. It was annoying as all heck that I couldn't get in my quick catnap. :lmao::lmao:

C'mon, Disney! We're trying to sleep here!

I believe this was the day the girls were determined to torcher me. First EE, then COP and NOW this:

 What did you do to them??

I'll just make the kids go back and get them for me.

Or you could come over yourself and get them :thumbsup2 then pop down the road and visit me :goodvibes

Beast is going to be a Santa present if I find him but Santa doesn't know that yet :lmao:

EE really jerked my neck around, I'm surprised I didn't have a headache when I was through...ok I'm done complaining. I will say we loved AK and its my DHs favorite park now :) my IASW ride involved the lady in front of me snapping selfies and my DD and I photobombing her...mean I know sorry. I may stop forcing my kids to suffer along with me in the future. My little guy liked it so it can be our special thing

:rotfl2: That would definitely be the place to do it.

No kidding!

C'mon, Disney! We're trying to sleep here!

Seriously, don't they know I had been going for 7 days and needed a snooze?

 What did you do to them??

I have no idea. :faint:

Or you could come over yourself and get them :thumbsup2 then pop down the road and visit me :goodvibes

That would take some doing. I'm not a fan of flying and anything over 3 hours for me is a scary thought. :crazy2:

Beast is going to be a Santa present if I find him but Santa doesn't know that yet :lmao:

Awwww...I'm sure Santa will be delighted.

Sorry about your neck. And you are not complaining...just stating a fact. I am glad DH has deemed AK his favorite and that you all loved it. I'd do the same thing...how many selfies does one need on a ride? That would be nice to have something special with your little guy.

Well, my trip is ending soon. I have today and tomorrow morning with the girls. :( But we are going to make the best of it!

Let's start with a view of our resort as we headed to the bus stop, shall we?

And how about some cute little girls with the cuter older girls?

(not sure what is up with Avery and the closed eyes)

We waited a very short time for a bus and we were on our way to Epcot.

We wanted to get replica pictures from our previous girls trips in front of Spaceship Earth so we could judge how much the girls had grown. However, it was extremely crowded so we decided to do it a little differently this year:

(see the sad face was starting already)

We started walking towards our first FP+ for the day which was Journey Into Imagination.

Now we were supposed to meet Bill and his wife (saintstickets here on the DIS) in front of Journey for a DIS meet. Unfortunately, Bill's wife came down with a horrible migraine and they weren't going to make it. I felt bad for his wife and was sad we wouldn't be meeting. Next time, Bill.

Shall we ride?

Remember...no dancing

Up next, we're going to rob a bank?

I hope you all have a great last long summer weekend. We have the kids coming to town and have a bags tournament tomorrow, Millenium Park and Navy Pier on Sunday with lunch at Ed Debevics and not sure what on Monday.

My kids loved Figment! And that resort...and bus stop look very familiar. Enjoy your weekend!!

Boo to the last day but it looked like fun so far. Too bad your Dismeet didn't happen. :( Migraines are no fun.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Life throws you a curve ball sometimes that you just can't seem to hit and so it happened this morning. Fortunately it didn't last all day and we were able to salvage the day but unfortunately we missed meeting y'all. Since your upcoming trip is before our next trip, I think you need to stay a little longer and we'll arrive a little earlier and we can make up for the missed DIS meet in June! :thumbsup2

I love Figment too and so happy the rumor that it was going away did not happen (yet anyway). Isn't it a gorgeous resort? :goodvibes

It was a fun start tothe day and it got better. I've been fortunate to never really have a migraine as I've heard horror stories about them.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks; you too Jill.

Unfortunately, these things happen. :(

I would love to stay a few extra days, but I don't think Nicki would like that very much as we have to go shopping on the 27th. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am hoping one of our next trips will find us overlapping.

(see the sad face was starting already)
You're not allowed to be sad at Disney World.

We started walking towards our first FP+ for the day which was Journey Into Imagination.
Love me some Figment, but that just seems so terribly wrong. :rotfl2:

I hope you all have a great last long summer weekend. We have the kids coming to town and have a bags tournament tomorrow, Millenium Park and Navy Pier on Sunday with lunch at Ed Debevics and not sure what on Monday.

The long flights aren't that bad. Since Delta changed our flighs for this year our first one is 7.3 hours and the second one if 6.75 hours but if you bring books, watch movies, eat, sleep etc the time passes fairly quickly.

Awwww...I'm sure Santa will be delighted.

I know! :lmao: I'll wait til I'm in World of Disney to tell Santa that's what I want :goodvibes

I love the girls frozen t-shirts

Claire loves Figment too~!
The last day just sucks....but you are making the best of it!

Adorable pics of all 4 of you! Love your shirt!

Sorry you did not get to meet Bill. He's a hoot and Grace is lovely!

More fun updates. I remember COP being off track and amking our nap time less productive. Tony's is ok-not great. Fugment still makes me think of the fall Mark took into the bushes LOL

Boy Kathy, do I have some catching up to do. :crazy2: I've been following your TR daily, but just now posting on it. Life can come at you fast (isn't that a commercial?) and these past few weeks have done just that.

My thoughts and prayers were with you on the 6th anniversary of your dads passing. I remember the day you informed us of it. I'm sure he is looking down at his little girl ( to dads their daughters will always be their little girls) and telling the angels just how proud he is of you.

Sorry to hear about your latest breakfast ADR at the Tusker House. I know this was a favorite of yours and it must have been a real let down for you that day. Perhaps it was just a bad day for them. :confused3

Concerning the details at the AK; I agree with you 100%. While for me the AK is usually a 1/2 day park, I do love the theming and the fine details of everything in the AK; It is truly amazing and an example of Disney at their finest.

Funny picture of you riding Dinosaur. It's not my favorite ride in the "world" but I do enjoy it; however, Alyssa really does not like Dinosaur at all and only rode it this last time because her cousin talked her into it... I have a feeling she will never ride that thing again. :goodvibes

Now EE is another story. I am a huge roller coaster fan and love EE; Alyssa loves the ride as well. We always hit this thing at rope drop ride it with no wait and then hop right back on it and ride it again. We do a FP+ and do it again later in the day before leaving. This past trip in June we rode it three times in a row before I had to tell the girls even I had enough. LOL... Sorry to hear you almost lost your "cookies" and everything else that may have been in you as well. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I loved your DIS meet at Ruby Tuesday with IheartDDuck. It just continues to amaze me with how many people love you here on the DIS. In the parks and out of the parks you have a great multitude of friends.

By the way a KatMark TR would not be complete without a posting of Mark and his hats, even if he is not at WDW with you. Love the picture of him at Hot Topic.:thumbsup2

Your pictures of the statues at the MK were very cool to see. You took a picture of Dumbo for your "honey", and you may not have realized it when you took a picture of Goofy, but subconsciously you took that for me. :lmao:

You and I see eye to eye when it comes to the CoP; it is nothing more than an opportunity to sit in the air condition and catch a few ZZZZ's. For some reason Carolyn really enjoys this atttraction??????

OHH NO YOU DIDN'T.... You actually rode IASW. Funny story.. A couple of weeks ago one of the little girls in my church was singing It's a small world repeatedly... I could not get that song out of my head all day long. :rotfl:

It seems like your dinner at Tony's was just ok. I have only eaten dinner one time in all my visits to the MK. With so many good restaurants at the resorts so close by we always head over to one of them for dinner.

Sorry to hear about your Dis meet with Saintstickets and his wife didn't happen as planned. Hopefully you will get to meet up again in the future. At least you were able to meet up later that day with a really neat, very intelligent and incredible good looking guy in the WS. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: (ok, ok, so I exaggerated a little.... alright a lot). ;)

I can't believe we're coming up on the end! I like the sound of making the best of it though.
Such a pretty resort. :lovestruc
Love the pics of all you girls. :thumbsup2 Especially the Epcot ones! Those girls are adorable!
Too bad your Dismeet didn't work out. Migraines suck!
Enjoy your long weekend with the kids, Kathy!
