My DD12 has numerous health problems so we spend alot of time either at the family doctors office or on the phone with them and they are always willing to go that extra mile to make things simpler for us.I would really like to get our Doctor and his staff something ,just to show our appreciation for everything they do for us.But,to put it bluntly I really "suck"at choosing the right thing. Could you please give me some Ideas that would make a nice thank you gift?I need to buy for the following

2 Female office staff $10 or under a piece

" Nurse $15-$20

Doctor (male) $50 or under (loves planes and owns
his own)

Not really sure what board this belongs on ,so sorry if this is the wrong place. Thanks for any suggestions.Kimmie

I was in a similar situation....my youngest son (of 4 kids) had reflux and ended up having his tonsils out before the age of 2. I was in and out of CHOP (Philly) A LOT. At his last appointment with gastro, I brought the doctor, nurse practicioner, and the nurses in the gastro suite a box of Italian cookies from a local bakery. It was something they could keep or choose to share with the office staff.

For the nurses at $10 or under, a box of nice chocolates. (The heck with anyone on a diet!!! However, I would caution against that if someone is diabetic.) Another option would be something from Bath and Body Works. You can usually put some coordinating items together for around $10, especially if you hit a sale. I like to buy their scented hand soaps and a matching hand lotion.

I would say ditto to the nurse for $15-$20. The same gift as the other nurses, just more of it.

As for the doctor, he's the tough one. You have a generous budget. I would suggest an American Express Be My Guest Dining Card. You can get one at americanexpress.com. On the home page, click on the lower left section marked gift cards and checks. You'll see a link for the dining card. The card is accepted anywhere Amex is accepted, so location is not a problem.

I think it's wonderful of you to remember the doctor and nurses. I hope this helps.
