How do you begin to sign up to get a wish. Are all wishes given to people who sign up in advance, or can you get a wish when you are there?

If you mean a wish from the YOMD, then you can't 'sign up' to get them as such, they're given to people as a suprise gift

You can send in postcards to 'Disney' in hope that you win something in the mail. But if you're actually in WDW, then the gifts are given at random. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. Dream Team Members are told where to go at a certain time and the guest that is lucky enough to be in that spot at that moment in time wins!

YOMD is not a sign up get gift program. The wishes are simply given to you as a suprise to make you WDW stay even better!!!! Wishes include a stay in the Cinderealla Castle suite Dream FastPasses 50 years as a DVC member etc. So thats all there is too it pretty easy huh? Well I hope this info helps you out

Yes you can also send in as many postcards to Disney as you like in hope of a special gift!!
