I am so exicted, my entire family is going to WDW for the first time in November. I can't wait to see the characters. Last year at Disneyland my sister and I were so happy to see MARY POPPINS. Now I am really looking forward to seeing Mulan, too. She is my absolute favorite.

Welcome to the disboards!
Your going to have a great time on your trip!

If you have any questions on planing your trip, you've come to the right place. Ask away!!

Well, I traded our time share in Cancun for a 3 bedroom villa at the Marriott Imperial Villas. I have got fifteen people going total. (We will have 2 units) - I am so excietd and have a ton of questions and, yes, it does look like I came to the right place. I have been to Disneyland about 6 or seven times and twice to California Adventure, throughout my lifetime, but never to any place as the resorts in Orlando. I am feeling excited and a bit overwhelmed by all there is to see. So, I do have some questions...
What is the best place to see the most characters?
Does the five day park hopper include ALL Disney Parks?
I ahve a girl 7 and a boy 4, what do they HAVE to see?? In you opinion??

Last time I went to DL, it was time for Pirates of Car. to be closed for maintenance. Which was sad. I hope I am not missing out on any other great rides when we go in November.

Thanks in advance!

You can see most characters in all the parks. Mary Poppins hangs out in the UK at Epcot, and Mulan can be seen in China at Epcot. Monster's Inc and Toy Story at MGM. There's a new show at MK that replace the Diamond Horseshoe that has a lot of character interaction, including Toy Story.

Here's info about Park Hoppers. Do you have Five Day Park Hopper Plus?

Five Day Park Hopper - Provides admission to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom on any 5 days, any combination of parks on a day. Visits with multi-day passes do not need to be consecutive and unused days never expire.

Park Hopper Plus Pass - Provides unlimited admission to the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Freedom to go from theme park to theme park on the same day PLUS a choice of visits to the following: Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, River Country (open seasonally), Pleasure Island, and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Visits with multi-day passes do not need to be consecutive and unused days and the plus visits never expire. You cannot park hop at the minor parks when using your Plus options. Each admission to a minor park counts as one Plus option.

Five Day Park Hopper PLUS Pass includes two PLUS visits.

I don't have small children, so can't really comment on that. However, I have heard that it's best to wait to see MK until you've visited the other parks. Some, not all, children love the magic at MK so much, the other parks can pale in comparison. You know your own kids.

Hope I've answered some questions for you.

Hey welcome to the boards!!! Hope that everything goes well with the planning and all of that. Have a great time!

are the character meals. We get a lot of one on one time with them. Plus we don't have to wait in line to see them while they are being swamped in the park. I think wherever you take your kids, you'll be the best mom in the world. MK is my favorite park-so Disney to me. And BTW, Pirates has been my favorite ride since I've been a little girl. The ride at WDW is very similar to Disneyland -I grew up in LaPuente, CA and spent many, many hours at DL. I miss it but WDW is better!! Have fun planning!!

Welcome!!

Characters are pretty easy to find. If you're looking for a certain one, just ask a CM. I've found the best place to find them all together in a bunch is at Epcot. They have a cute bus that drives around with them.

I'd recomend doing a character breakfast or dinner. We've only done Chef Mickey's so far (CR resort). It was great. You'll need PS for any character meal. They tend to book up. This year we're having b/fast at Cindy's castle.

If you've got time, you might want to check the kids programs at the Grand Floridian (you don't need park tickets). Go to www.disneyworld.com, click on resorts, then find the GF site. My 4.5 yo dd is doing the Pirate Cruise this time. All 3 programs have gotten rav reviews by fellow dis-ers. Plus, since they are kids only, you'd have a couple of hours to explore. You could hop on the monorail & check out the mono-rail resorts. (So you'll know where you want to stay next trip! *LOL*)

What ever you do, you'll have a blast. Don't even begin to think you'll see everything. We've been to WDW many, many times & still haven't see it all.

Welcome to the Dis! You've found the right place for info to make your trip extra special.

Welcom to disboards! I found these boards about a year ago and have been hooked every since! Its amazing how much people on here know about Disney World!

Welcome to the DIS.

Please understand that, unlike DL, you can't walk from one park to another. DW is very spread out, so leave time for traveling, either to/from parks to resort, or from park to park.

For characters definitely book a character meal. Also check out Cirque du Soleil (a must see and worth the money), Hoop Dee Doo Review, and the revamped luau. They are very popular with kids of all ages.

Since you are off site, stay away from the park that has EMH that day. At MK, get there right at opening and do Fantasyland first.

Use Fast Pass, use Fast Pass, use Fast Pass!!!!

Have Fun!
