at my 60 days I was able to log on, get our choices, no issues at all. What have I done since then? Stressed myself out thinking could I do better? Have I timed things right? Maybe I should just go in and see........Back away from the computer, Pam, back away slowly and no one gets's hurt.....with the paper FP, once you printed that baby out , no changes. I'm the problem, lol...not the system.

That is so funny! I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I've changed my FP+ twice already and we only have 2 days at the park! I keep thinking "what if this happens...or what if she wants to go here..." My biggest problem is I could only get a E&A greet for 7:00PM and my other FP are late morning! That leaves a lot of time in between.:confused3 I'm just thankful I got the meet and great.

Good luck!

:rotfl2: I can do mine on Monday and I am afraid I am going to be the same way. It's how I have been about my ADR's for the last 4 months.

I was just thinking earlier today that I should start a thread titled "How many times have you changed your FP+". I've changed almost every single one at least once since I originally booked. I did the same with my ADRs.

I am the opposite, I make my choices, and then don't mess with them, same with ADRs...(or I will be as soon as I get to 60 days and can make FP+ choices) maybe if I did second guess myself I would have something to take my mind off the waiting.

Scarily, while waiting now, I am starting to plan the next trip...need something to do right?

I did the same thing in March, I can't tell you how many times I went back and rearranged times, looked for other options, etc. It was insane. I'm going to try really hard to not do that this time around.

Relax, Pam, you'll be just fine. And you always change on the fly, even while there. Have a great trip.

This is a very anticipated trip (long over due in my book) My Friends usually think I am crazy with my "old style" planning- just a simple speadsheet of what parks what days, ADR's, QS options, scheduled swim breaks etc- just the basics. Now with FP+ I have moved on to full blown touring plans. What rides ,what times, Walking distance between rides... I obsess over crowd levels, recommend days and these DISboards!! I do now (for about the 5th time) have my ULTIMATE PLAN!! I am very pleased with it. I havent let my family in on my touring plan work~ they are blissfully oblivious to the incredible amount of work I put in over the past 6 months. Now, here's hoping everything goes off without a hitch!!!!! What are the chances of that!?!?:scared:

Thank Goodness it's not just me!! I booked all my ADR's @ 180 days and FP @ 60 and have changed just about all for some reason or another. I do like all this planning I think its fun. Keeps me sane while I wait for our trip day to finally get here.

I did the same but when we went( last week in June) our plan had us done in each park by 5 30.Then we went back and did things we wanted to repeat until the fireworks. You have to just relax and trust your plan. In other words, Let it go, let it go! :rotfl2:

:wave2: Hi Dan! We're heading to visit DD who took a new animation job in Orlando. She now works for a Theme Park Design firm (not WDW)Anxious to see her and only have Labor Day Weekend for the parks. We are used to 3x's that so I am stressing a bit. However, it's more about the whole family being together than which rides. Honestly, waiting in line might be the silver lining as we can catch up with each other even more :goodvibes

I chose all our FP+ times ending by noon each day, in hopes of additional ones. I think I may switch them a little later for our day after MK evening EMH...hopefully we will be able to ride all our favorites. It sounds like your were later in the day, and you still had lots of riding? Fingers crossed TTA is open when we go.

That's what she has been studying for, isn't it, Pam? Her ambition? That's great!!!!

Enjoy your time together. :cloud9:

Your not alone. I keep checking mine thinking will I make it in time ? Is this a good time ? Are these the ones I really want. I wish it went back to the old way, Its enough I have to plan my dinners way ahead of time now I have to pick times for the rides or shows or meet and greets. Very frustrating but fun at the same time

Fin fan - in Epcot, our preselected fast passes were done by 1 o clock. In Mk and Hs, we were done with those by 2ish But remember you can get more, 1 at a time. The only fast pass I chose that I regretted was the voyage of the little Mermaid show in HS. We has an Fp from 2 to 2 15. When we approached they told us we would be in the 2 35 show and to go walk around and come back then. We did return and were dumped into the holding area with the standby line . And even then we didn't get good seats.... That was a waste... Other than that super smooth trip and good fast pass + experience..

Yep, she graduated in '12, worked in San Francisco for a year + and then took the offer for Orlando..she loves it there, and can't believe she can head to the parks whenever she has time. She loves Universal too, and the best part? Her company has theme park events , she rode in the Mardi Gras parade at Universal, hs been on behind the scenes tours/private events...the down side is lots of hours so our time with her will be limited but getting to FL is way easier on us than getting to San Francisco so :thumbsup2 She tells me all the time how lucky she is to be working in her field, to be working at all (some of her high school friends have not been as lucky) but to be working entertaining people? It is her top goal so she's pretty content. :) You know with your kids, when the pieces fall in place, all is right with the world. Soon your grandkids will be on their way!

Wonderful!! Always nice to see the kids succeed, doing what they want. Have a good weekend, Pam.

Speaking of changing Fast passes, I did not realize that when i made my fastpass choices, (i did them at 2 am) I was so excited to get the rides that i wanted i never looked closely at the time. So now I was making my touring plan, and see that i am crisscrossing the park a ton of times. So now i go in and alter all of my times so I am only hitting one area of the park once. Let me tell you by the end of my planning I will be able to draw the park in my head and tell you where everything is, Its hilarious to me.

Hence the phrase "I need a vacation from my vacation" lol

Adding to the list of FP missteps..

I got a "better" time for my only 7Dwarfs . 9:30. Canceled the original slot. Two days later, I realized it was 9:30PM. Our plans had us out of MK by noon. i tried changing the times, but there were no times available.

i changed the reservation to another ride, thinking i'd have better luck grabbing a time for 2 people (instead of the original 4).

long story short.. i now have no reservations on 7D and none are available for any of my 7 days in Aug :p

:faint:
