So, Monday is our 180 day mark. :woohoo: We have not booked through Grand Gatherings or anything but we all have our room ressies and one group has the dining plan thus far.

Questions...

DO I need a credit card for a large party to secure ADR's?

Will I need to tell them who is on the plan and not?

Also making BBB ressies for my DD and her cousin, I know they took credit card number in the past, is that still the case?

Anything else I am not thinking of?

thanks

:wave2: From our experience last year, as a party of nine...

-The size of your party is not a factor as to where a cc is needed to book an ADR. Places that require a cc to book (like CRT) will ask for a cc for a party of 2 or 20. Does that make sense?!
-When booking ADRs, they will ask if you are on the DP. Simply say some of us are, and some are not. You can still book everyone as one party.
-Yes, BBB still take a cc number to book.
-One thing I learned last year was that the early and late times were available to larger parties. Getting in-between times, at least for us, was impossible even when calling at 180 days out.
Good luck and have a fabulous adventure!!:upsidedow

that stinks about the times, i am pretty anal about our dining times.:headache:  I wonder if I ought to split us up in order to get good times?

I found with a larger party (9) that we definitely had to be more flexible with ADR times than when I have booked for smaller parties. Yet that was just my experience. You may very well have a different experience when you call! Good luck! :upsidedow

I've booked us with a party of 16 and with a party of 22. What I was told is if you have 10 or more you have to go through group dining. Their number is 407-939-7707. They usually ask that you take either the first or last seating, but they will try to accomodate you with the times that you prefer. Your party really isn't that large, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem unless the seating inside the restaurant itself is small or limited (like at Sci-Fi for example). We didn't have any problems at all and were only split up twice, once at LTT and once at Sci-Fi. Good luck, and have a great trip!

thanks for the phone number!!!:goodvibes I really don't want the 1st or last seating so hopefully I won't have to take it. Thanks for the good wishes.:cheer2:
