Why on earth would you be ashamed? lol - just chill out and enjoy them! I'm a single person, living in FL and I own 1140 points. I can assure you, embarrassment isn't something I feel when I think about my points. I satisfy myself with my stack of upcoming reservation slips and be glad I had the sense to buy those points

Chances are, no matter how many points you have there are alot of folks out there with many more than you, too!

The first part of overcoming a problem is admitting you have one. I think I might actually need an intervention soon

We have owned for a little over a year and have already added on 3 times.

I dont know how to stop? I came home after work last week and was talking to my wife about BCV and she said "are you trying to tell me something" and wanted to know how many more points I waitlisted us for (lucky for me she loves DVC)?

Someone send help ASAP....

Oh my gosh!! how do I get MY HUSBAND to be like this???? Then again, for finance sake, I guess I'm glad we both aren't addicted!

just curious, how many points do you have? When I read about people who have thousands of points, heck, even 400 or more... I'm in awe. I currently have 0 points... but am working on buying a small resale eventually.

Be prepared for the therapist to do "on Site" sessions after all how can they help if they don't know the extent of the temptation.

Discount? What discount? Nobody told ME about a discount!!

I find this thread so amusing because for 6 years DH insisted "we are NOT DVC people!!" Then I tell him about AKV and as soon as the points were up for sale, he purchased 200. Then our guide offered us a great deal on SSR so he bought 180. Then he decided we needed an Epcot-area resort to use during F&WF and purchased 180 BCV points via resale. I may have created a monster, but I'm okay with it.
