is on HBO right now. This movie make me all nervous. Anyone else?

and I've seen it before.

That movie is good, but way too disturbing/depressing. It haunted me for a while after I saw it. I refuse to watch it again!

The scene with Sam the dog just happened. :sad1:

I had to leave the theatre the first time because of the dog. After I read every possible spoiler I went and saw it again. It is a good movie, but much too emotional for me. I can easily see myself forming the same kind of attachment if I were in his situation and it just hits too close to home.

I liked the book better. This version is better than the original version with Heston (The Omega Man) but still did not do justice to the book

I loved that movie! I can watch it over and over.

Ugh, that was so hard to watch! I was bawling. Although I knew it was going to happen the minute the movie opened and I saw there was a DOG in it. I was just waiting for the moment to come. Seems like whenever there's a dog in a movie like this, you just know something bad is going to happen to it.

It's a good movie but difficult to watch.

I agree! I was so relieved when the dog in The Hindenburg movie survived.

I love post-apocalyptic movies and books, but they creep me out so much. I can't get them out of my head for a while after I see them...yet I can't resist watching them.

OK. It's over. Now I don't know if I can sleep.

I saw it last year in the theaters right after Christmas. That night I really couldn't sleep because I kept the Sam scene and I wondered it would be live in world like that.

I saw it in the theater, and on TV a few times, and I cry over the Sam scene every time. Even DH was sniffling in the theater..heck, the entire theater was.

I hear they are talking sequel... Dont know how they could bring Will Smith back.

"The Omega Man" was soo much better.

I liked "I Am Legend" well enough, but didn't like the fighting scenes much.

I did like the scene where he says, "Please say 'hello' to me." :(

I love Will Smith, the kids all like him and DH has pronounced him "The world's greatest living actor", but none of us loved that movie. (In case you're wondering, John Wayne would be "The greatest actor that ever was or will be", which is why Will is 2nd on DH's list.)

I really liked it in the theater and bought it when it came out. I have actually seen it about a dozen times and now watch it on HBO. It's a bit like a train wreck. I am scared to death of some of the scenes and terribly uncomfortable with others, like the video store, but just have to watch it again and again.

I saw it in the theatre. While I think it's a great, powerful movie I'm not sure I can see it again either. My heart sank. Will Smith's performance was outstanding.

I was crying during that scene. And during the video club scene after this one.

DH and I rented it and we had to stop partway through because it was just making both of us too nervous to continue watching it. I knew something would happen to the dog but we didn't stick with it that long. :lmao:

I loved the please talk to me line. He did that going crazy but still a little human thing so well.

Nope. In fact I am sick of Will Smith. It has finally happened to me.:rotfl:

I am a "end of the world" movie gal. Love them, seen them ALL, even the obscure.

This movie kind of sucks for me. The CGI in it was awful. The lion scene was not necessary. It was a very poor remake, imo.

Of course I will still watch it.:lmao:
