We just booked flights this weekend for a Christmas trip Dec 24-31.
Now I need to find a condo? And a car! But nothing can beat the sweat running down my face in panic then our first Christmas at WDW with the Mouse himself!!!

for some reason it says that Cypress pointe has available but won't allow you to book - because of the 3 night min - but the computer is treating this as a 3 night max not min.

Okay have you tried hotwire or priceline?????? Its the last min...and at Christmas It may be hard to get a last min condo unless someone cancel's there ressie.........Good luck and may tink dust be sprinkled on you I dont know what your budget is but you could land a great deal at the last min...... Think positive...I hope it all work's out for you......oh try www.vbro.com...you never know what may pop out there.....Thats where i got my condo for Christmas Back in July.....

Hi, I agree..would go to several sites...www.vrbo.com to Disney area and then make sure bedrooms are listed from least to most and then check availability calendars and move on if taken...
Or try www.villas2000.com and click the condos only section and do some shopping...you will find something...

Spent a couple of minutes searching and here is one from Villas at Sommerset...older but nice and easy trip to disney via Poinciana across 192 to Osceola Parkway...good luck..Ted

Sorry - OT but I am so excited that you are staying at the same condo that we are , you this year, us next!!!!

About the OP of this thread , she posted a similar thread on the Canadian board and was given good info. on that thread as well as this thread. I assume by now she found something.

Hi everyone. Sorry I have not got back. I had some more things happen at home to put me in another panic. My husband truck broke down last night and we are waiting to here the damage $$$. I have had some e-mails come in with some condos and some houses. I have been busy with this truck thing and have not been able to look at the condos. I hope to get this all figured out soon.

Well You have to tell us ...Have you found anything yet or did the truck kill it all????
My A.C went out last year and it killed our plans.........So i know how that goes...Believe me when your a.c. goes out in July in south ga vacation plans can go quick!

Well the truck was not under warranty, but did not cost as much as we thought. Don't get me wrong, it was still $1100, but it could have been much, much worse. The trip is still on. I am just trying to finish up some things with the condo owner. Thank you for the good wishes.

We have had great luck with last minute car rentals through floridakiss.com Part way down the page is an icon for dollar car rental. Click on that and it will put a code in for you... Kiss2 (maybe) It cut our car rental in half last year.

I have a week book with that code for next April and I have an economy car for a week for 117.00 (with taxes) The following week I didn't get such a great rate when we needed something different when my hubby and mom are joining us but sometimes you hit it great. This is good for Florida rentals only.
