Got home yesterday early afternoon and had a fantastic 3 weeks :)

So here are a few highlights -

Disneyland was so much fun, got to do nearly everything I wanted to there

Trek America was fantastic we had the most wonderful guide and my fellow trekkers were the best :)

The actual tour was wonderful saw some great places and extremes in temperature!

The camping and cooking was so much fun (except the one night it rained hard at Yosemite!)

Upper Class was once again a great way to travel ;)

The hotel at Disneyland was so close to the parks, about a 5 minute walk!

Virgin America were super, I was so impressed with the plane and the whole process for check in :thumbsup2

To be honest the only low was saying goodbye to all my new friends on the trek, esp those who were continuing into the second half of the tour :sad1:

So in all I had a great time and would not think twice to book such a holiday again, I now have the camping bug and enjoy travelling solo :)

Glad you had a good time - that's one of my favourite things of Disneyland is how close to the parks you can get (and how cheap it costs to do so) :thumbsup2

welcome back, sounds like you had a brilliant time.xx :)

Welcome home! So glad you had a great time! I am thinking of going on a Trek America tour on the West coast sometime soon, so glad to hear you had a good experience with them! :)

Oh which one are you thinking of doing?

Either the Westerner 2 or 3 I think - it will just be a question of what length trek to do - 2 or 3 weeks. :) Thinking about it for April/May next year. How did you find the travelling as part of the trek - did you feel like you spent a lot of time on the bus? :)

I enjoyed the 2 weeks but 4 would of been better ;)

We did have some long distances to cover on a couple of days but breaks were frequent and to travel large distances and see things you need to accept some long journeys. All in though I found the van time to be good and was fun to watch the scenery go by.
