I am having Disney withdrawl!

So we ususally go to DW twice a year. Once with our son, and once just a trip for DH and I. In May 2009 we went on our DH and I trip, but did not get to our November family trip we always take because in September, we had a baby girl. Anyway, I was about 18 weeks pregnant on our May trip and it was the time where it was in the 90's and REALLY hot. So we spent a lot of time in the room and not much time in the parks because it was just to hot for me.

This year (2010) we cannot take a DH and I trip because I just cannot ask anyone to watch a 6 year old and a 5 month old for a week. That is a lot of work. We are taking a trip in December with our family, and both of DH's brothers and their families. So it will be 1 1/2 years since I had been to Disney. It is driving me NUTS and I find myself on Dis all the time just dreaming that it was me going on the trips everyone is going on.

I think I need therapy.

Me too! We went twice last year (Feb 09 and June 09) and I wont be going back till Feb 2011 so it will be 20 months! ACK! We had been going yearly also but DH decided he wanted something different so we are doing a cruise (not Disney).

I would love to do a long weekend but the flight is 3 1/2 hours and so you really only get two days. To me, that is just not worth the cost of flying. Know what I mean? I am going to try my hardest to get there, though!

Oh, I'm definitely feeling the withdrawl myself. I'm used to going once if not twice a year and my last trip was May 2009. we aren't planning to go back until our baby is 4! How will I make it!!!! sigh...

We haven't had a disney vacation since
2004...5 long yrs!! We used to go twice

YEAH!!!! Dh called his parents today and they said that they will come down for a week so that we can go on vacation. Disney, here we come! Looks like May 1-8th!

Another person having major withdrawals here. I was in WDW last May, had a blast, went to DL in Dec and it was terrible. Rained, rained & rained some more, everything was closed or it broke as we waited in line. The park had power surges, just not good. So we left DL at like 2 in the afternoon, that is how bad it was. Anyways, we were going to go in August this year until we found out we OWE on our taxes this time. Major bummer, so DH said I'm not even allowed to say the "D" word right now.
