Hello,,, my name is Michelle and I am going through AP withdrawal. I knew my DIS friends would understand this! It was a sad day on Feb. 2, the last day of my AP. I used it up and went into the parks with a...gulp...leftover hopper. I have no plans to go back until October , when I will get my new AP, but if I had an AP now I might make a plan...my freind and fellower diser dgaston told me it would be OK. I don't believe her, lol! Before she drove me to the airport to come home yesterday I thought, hmm she is still sleeping maybe I will get up and head over to the park for a few hours...then I remembered...no AP! Oh no, I don't want to waste 1 day of an old hopper on what might only be 2 hours of fun...do I??? Please tell me I did the right thing! I so want my AP back! :teeth:

I feel your pain. My AP expired on 12/4/2005. Unfortunately, my December trip lasted until 12/6. I ended up purchasing a (gulp) two day Magic Your Way pass WITH the hopper option. Ouch. I did so because I planned to get back in sync with the rest of my family this summer and purchase a brand new AP.

Now it turns out that even though we have a summer vacation planned, it is only for 6 nights, so an AP doesn't seem economical. That is, unless I plan to go back in December (???) and if our 2007 summer vacation is before the 2006 AP runs out. So many choices and decisions. And to top it off, our DDE cards have expired and we can't get a new one unless one of us has an AP. Did I mention that we are DVC members and that we get a discount on APs (but not on MYW tickets)?

I guess that I shouldn't complain about being in such a situation, but I will say again, I feel your pain. It just doesn't feel right not having an AP.

:scratchin Hmmmmm. . .My story is exactly the same. Do I know you :confused3 ;) :teeth:?

However, after several years of having an AP and taking multiple trips each year, I now have NO trip planned . Maybe December :rolleyes1.

I second that DVC member comment. We too own and I even passed on the discount... :sad2: this is so hard...I was told it would be more economical, I think she is lying to me! :rotfl:
