After all these years of doing it myself.....I am calling in a landscaper. I just can't haul wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of dirt.

Because of the construction, the job is just too big this time. besides...this job would take me weeks and with a bobcat is can be done in a day.

I'm going to let them move the dirt around, haul in the loam and shape the beds.

I'm going to do the planting though...the best part.

I have thought about doing the same thing. I have 2 areas that need some dirt hauled in and shifted around. The only thing that has kept me from doing it is the cost. I keep thinking that the cost will be astronomical yet I haven't had anyone come to give me an estimate.

As I'm sitting here tonight with an achy back, sore arms, sore hips, sore hiney, sore legs, and sore feet I'm thinking hiring a landscaper is a great idea! I spent the day moving dirt and plants around and I'm exhausted. Go for it. You deserve to have fun.

Finally!!!

3 guys spent yesterday hauling out sand, debris and spreading loam in the back. Today they are doing the front, marking out the gardens and spreading seed!!!!
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to watch for a change...LOL
