I am finally getting married!!

I talk to some of you wonderful podcast listeners in chat but I haven't been as active on this board as I mean to be- but I wanted to share that I am finally getting married!! I have been with my fiance for 5 1/2 years and and he popped the question 2 and a half years ago on a WDW trip. We had to postpone due to finances, but I recently got a better job and now we are tired of waiting and just decided 6 weeks ago to get married this August! I think I must be crazy! We are having a "When You Wish Upon a Star" Theme at our home area wedding since we weren't able to work out a DFTW wedding.

We also are taking a two week Disneymoon!! We booked a 7 night DCL cruise with Dreams Unlimited several weeks ago, but we decided we wanted the ultimate honeymoon and just got our quote for 7 night stay at AKL the week before and are making our deposit for that this week!!! We are so excited!

This will be my longest vacation ever! Longest vacation I have ever done was 10 days I think! My new job gives me alot of vacation time to start so I am taking advantage of it!!! And even I was little I always said I wanted to have a Disney honeymoon!

I'm in the same situation as you too! Its so wierd. My fiance and i have been together for 5 1/2 years and engaged 2 1/2 years ago at Disneyland. Weve just decided on a date, and although its not as soon as august, it feels so good to have picked a date and start planning right?
