I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by everything......we are going in november, and i have been addicted to reading these boards for lots of great tips........
but my head is spinning , with character meals, adrs..did i make enough reservations.....will we be out of luck because i didn't........character meet and greets, which direction to go in which park first....should we do the xmas party.....where do you keep the photo pass so you don't lose it? how about the key to the world, will all 4 of us have a card to keep track of? if we do i now have 5 cards to keep track of......yes you know moms have to keep track of it all.......then there is my own camara,.......my disney rewards card i am bringing for the kids spending money, then yes, there is cash, and the backpack, with bandaids, tissues, water bottle, hand sanitizer etc etc..........
good lord my head is going round and round.

I know it's overwhelming. My advice is just take it one step at a time. Make a list for things you want to remember (a packing list, an ADR list etc) As for everything else..just see how it goes. When we went in September, I had a touring plan for each day and we started out following it to a tee, but then we saw a ride that was close to the one we were at had a short wait, so we rode it then instead of coming back to it later etc. Just go with the flow and do what you can and realize, you aren't going to be able to do it all.

Have a great trip! :)

I agree. I plan out an itinerary based on the park hours, ADRs, EMHs, etc. It's usually a rough one of which park in the morning and/or aft/evening. Then it's just "go with the flow". I also usually try and take advantage of the morning EMHs since I can get the most done at a park before the general public arrives. If it starts getting crazy I'll head to another park or take a break at the resort.

Relax and enjoy your trip!! :goodvibes

As the others have said, relax and take it easy! No need to get too stressed over planning! You'll be fine. When are you going in November? We'll be there Nov 15-21. Most of our days, I only have one ADR. There are two days when I have a lunch and dinner ADR. The rest of the time, we'll grab something - or try to get in as a walkup.

We are going to MVMCP - we've been going since 2000 and we really like it! Last year, we rode all the rides (some more than once) before 10:00 pm at the party!!! It was great!!! My DD loves getting hot chocolate and a cookie and watching the parade! It is a "must do" for us, but not for everybody.

Make up a list of things you want to include in your backpack. If there's anything you forget and find you need once you're in Disney, just buy it there. It may cost a little more, but at least you won't be so stressed!!!

Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1> Photopass card just make sure you write the numbers or take a picture of the back of the card. This way if you loose it no big deal the numbers are whats important.

2> KTTK cards you all will get them but your name will be on them. No big deal if you loose them as they can easily be replaced as well.

3> Rewards card and cash could be left in the safe of the room (always take $20 or so in case a cart can't take the KTTK card). Charge everything to the room and use the rewards card and even the cash to pay that down.

4> We all carry the small waterproof holders . You can get tham at all the resorts and the waterparks. For us We keep our KTTK card,ID,DVC,APsand $20 in them . They are great for the fastpasses as well.I have a chain attached to mine I clip on a Beltloop and put it in my pocket . DD &DW just keep their in the Backpack/fannypack or purse and loop the neck cord thru a strap or handle making them very easy to find.

5> make plans but relise once there you may want to go with the flow a bit more. Take you cell and keep the ADR # in it to call and check for last minute ressies or just hit a CS.

6> sit down with the kids and go to the Maps with rides and find out what they want to hit the most (2 or 3 rides ) plan around them first and then just go with it the rest of the day.

7> relax millions survive Disney everyyear and you will to . Until you started reading the DIS you may have never known . A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing after all.

I'm feeling very overwhelmed. That's why I came here. I hope to learn a lot to make our trip easier.
