My slot shot right now is switching from BLT to BRV for Sept 1- 4.

Silly me had BRV, but then last month I saw BLT and got excited and switched it. Now DH is sad that we haven't stayed at BRV for a few trips and wants it back.

Yesterday I got the first two nights at BRV - so now just stalking for the last night. I'm still keeping the full BLT for now as I don't want to do a split stay.

Omg this same thing happened to me I had brv 1 bedroom booked, but then vgf popped up and I got excited and switched it, but now I'm kind of having regret, i feel like a crazy person

It's because I didnt realize the vgf was bpk and I do not like those rooms, but I'm reluctant to let it go because of all the dining options there that I haven't tried and want to, maybe this will be the time I finally get to go to Victoria and alberts, I don't know what to do, help

For a few weeks since March I had the entirety of two contracts bound up in multiple reservations and wait lists over the same 5 day period in October and every time something popped up as available during my constant (obsessive) stalking I was SO SCARED I’d grab the wrong room category and mess all of my plans up!

Worked out well in the end for me, thank goodness, but a week later I’m still catching myself logging into the DVC website to check availability for my dates.

The slot machine just gave me vgc 4th of July weekend, I'm hitting the jackpot with that hotel, two holidays in a span of 3 days, yet still waiting on my bcv waitlist

Did u see it? 4 days popped up and i grabbed 3 and then someone grabbed the last night. I'm going to be in florida by then but I'm booking a trip back for 4th of July now to "visit" family had to cancel a couple of days from my big trip as well so now I'll be calling AGAIN tomorrow to max out OTU points, i know people said I would be going more after buying but I seriously had no idea it would be this much more

Ughhh I was searching and saw Poly, but I was searching in general not via modify, so I went to modify and it was gone.

How do you play the slots if looking to swap rooms? Via modify or just general searching?

I always do general searching and pray that by the time I modify its still there and I book my rooms as one night at a time so that if things pop up night by night I don't have to drop the whole thing. This can backfire if more than one night shows up and takes more time to modify but usually it's one or two nights that pop up. I also notice that I can't modify a california resort to a Florida resort which blows and takes more time

I finally got what I wanted, VGF Resort Studio (wanted to finally try them), for our 2 post-Thanksgiving nights in early December. Changed it from Poly original studio, but there's 1 point leftover that will likely go to waste, sadly. But happy to have a shorter walk after MVMCP and try these new rooms.

Yeah! I do like the original Poly studios but for this quick trip I'm taking my mom (driving up from her place in S. FL) and she has been asking to stay at VGF. So VGF it is! And I'll get to see whether we notice any noise issues or not

I'm happy to be done with DVC slots for a long while! (Probably almost 2 years!)

Since Disney announced that there'll be no gingerbread house at the GF lobby this year, I don't think they'll be fully finished yet. But hopefully it'll be minimal. It's okay in any case.
