I Am "Cleared For Launch!"

Just as Endeavor sits on Her Launch Pad awaiting final clearance for Launch,I have received my final "clearance" to "Launch" my WDW Trip Tomorrow!

My Doctor told me Today that I have progressed enough from my recent Surgery to make the trip.(I presented a compelling presentation!)

I cannot hit the Coasters,etc.and will have to use an ECV,but,since I plan to continue going to WDW for the rest of my life,I am looking at this trip as a "practice run" for my Old Age when I have to use an ECV EVERY trip!

I think this will be the best of all my trips(This will be my 19th trip).

There are so many fun things this trip:

Royal Wedding Party at The Wedding Pavilion
Launch of Space Shutle Endeavor
Final Show for The British invasion
Cheer and Dance Worlds(Yes,I do enjoy these competitions.)
Flower Power Concerts(Paul Revere/Davy Jones)

Let the Countdown begin!

I just got clearance yesterday to travel for my upcoming trip in 16 days with about the same situation. I had surgery 6 weeks ago and will have to use an ECV. This will be my first and hopefully only for a while for a few years. My Sister and I would talk about when we got old going showing in a scooter but I did not think I would travel at 51 with a scooter but I like your thinking practice for when I am old
I can do rides with exception of water. I have to keep my leg dry from public water. No swimming but yesterday I was cleared to take a shower

Glad you got cleared!!! What's your plans for saturday? There's some central Fl dissers meeting in Mexico at Epcot at 3, by the margarita stand. I'll be there in my wheels....so no worries about being old using a scooter.....I'm 37 and need one most of the time at DW. Enjoy the launch. Glad you're staying away from here. They're closing the schools early because of the traffic. They're expecting mass chaos for the roads!! I just hope it's not too cloudy in between here and there for ya!! Enjoy it tho!

Thanks for the invite to the Mexico meet!

Unfortunately,due to an EXTREME family emergency,I had to cancel my trip Wednesday night about 10 hours before I was to leave.

It is "sad",but what my Family members are going through is sadder than cancelling a million trips to WDW.

Thanks again for the invite-that was so nice of you.

Have a great trip,I am hoping to be able to catch the Launch live on TV,if circumstances allow.

Yea, very sorry to hear you had to cancel. The launch for today has been scrubbed, they said at least 48 hours. I hope everything is ok with your family!!!! Sending well wishes your way!!!!

Family members survived the Tornado,but EVERYTHING they owned is GONE!It looks like a bomb was dropped on them.

But,they are blessed-they had minor injuries,but MANY people are seriously injured and/or lost loved ones.

Glad to hear you are doing better!!! We had to postpone our annual Thanksgiving trip due to my medical problems. Doctor said I was good to go and I can't wait!!! DD also is just getting over her medical issue too.
