I am bummed...

I don't want anyone to think that I am heartless...as I said in my other post, I care deeply and have been praying for all the residents of Florida.

But...I am so bummed. My trip was ruined this weekend with 3 cancelled flights (for my own good I know...wouldn't have wanted to spend 2 of my Disney days in my hotel room). I tried to call Disney to reschedule and they have people in Kansas answering the phones and they can't rebook because I have a package. The earliest I can rebook is tomorrow...if they are open. I am not complaining at all...just venting how bummed I am. I have 4 children and have nothing to tell them. But, they are very understanding as well...just venting. Sorry to be so long winded.

Hope to be back at WDW sometime...it is just hard to plan around school and activities. Can't wait to hear reports from people that do make it this week. Be safe everyone.

I know how disappointing it is to postpone a trip, and I don't think you are heartless.

To help your children, why don't you try putting together hurricane packages to send to the people in FL? We did them in church and if you like I can send you the items they asked for. It will help the kids keep their minds off Disney, and focusing on helping out those in need.

I am so sorry you cannot reschedule but with children I know school is in session and it is harder to do..I hope you can reschedule for maybe Columbus Day or Veterans Day weekends or maybe even Thanksgiving!!!

I am in the same boat, I am now booked on my third flight for this week and it looks like it will go..but we had to really shift things around and I have to take an extra day off from work to do it..so I know how hard it is.....{{{HUGS}}}
