I Am Back!!!

Hi guys... I just wanted to let you all know that I am back and a Mrs. The wedding went wonderful - had a few mishaps, but nothing big at all. Eveything ran smoothly and fantastic. The day was beautiful! Rained all morning, but the sun came out and was very bright for our ceremony at 5pm - yeah!!! I was so happy about that!

My pics should be up tonight (we used an outside photographer), and I will post again and let you know the website and password!

Thanks everyone for all the help and advice that got me thru the day!!!

Wow - Congratulations Jamie - how wierd is it now it's over after all of the planning?

Welcome back Jamie! Been thinking about ya! I think you had trouble with the limo? I spoke with Jim from Golden Limo...he helps Dennis at Lorden and he told me there was some confusion. Hope it all worked out! How were the flowers ?!

I posted the pics under a new thread a few minutes ago...

As I previsouly said, the wedding went well, but of course there are always mishaps! I will let you know the things that went wrong...

# 1 - They gave me the wrong cake!! The cake I chose and the cake they gave us had very similar names, and someone screwed up somewhere along the way. I dont know! We were suppose to get the Castle Cake, but got the Destination Castle Cake instead. Also, we asked for white chocolate mouse, and I think we got custard instead. I didnt have any cake (too busy dancing), but a lot of people told me it was custard and some said it tasted like bananas... odd! My hubby thinks they just gave us someone elses cake. Who knows.

# 2 - There were suppose to be menus tucked inside the tuxedo fold napkin, but there were no menus! Was told that they couldnt do it b/c it was a buffet. Odd b/c on Thursday (2 days before the wedding) at my meeting with everyone, they told me that the menus couldnt be printed in silver ink like we wanted but they would be printed in black. I think it was more that someone forgot.

Those were the 2 issues that bothered me the most. Especially the cake.

We did a cruise for the honeymoon (Carnival Cruise Lines) and had a BLAST!!!! Such a good time! Cant wait to do it again!!!

Well... Gotta get some sleep! Have had a loonng 2 weeks! I am more then happy to share anything else, just ask away!!!

congratulations jamie! i am so glad everything went off with a bang, i'll be looking at the pictures next, best wishes to you & hubby!

as for ?'s, how was driving to orlando from illinois with your luggage & wedding items? what would you do again for the wedding & what/if anything would you skip/change? did you have enough privacy on your cruise from all the other cruisers to enjoy alone? ok, i think those are enough questions for now.
