I am at a standstill!!!

I am so frustrated!! I cannot do anymore planning for the last week of August until I get the hours, enights, fireworks schedule etc. & the suspense is killing me! We also didn't book our hotel yet because we are waiting for AP rates & codes to come out....sorry, I just needed to vent & knew this was the place to do so!

I understand- we are going the 23rd-31st. I started a rough outline but it is hard to plan with the way they are posting hours so late now. I still have not booked a hotel for our last 2 nights. We have the great $20.03 Marriott DD rate for our first 5 nights. We will probably stay at WL or Poly for the last 2 nights.

DH and I waited for May hours until the first week of May and we were not at all happy. We wrote to Disney and they did add fireworks, some e-ride nights, and a couple of later hours (unfortunately didn't benefit us much since we are there fisrt week). The rates for moderates for $94 and we haven't even checked out AP rates b/c that rate was so great. Chances are there will be great rates to take advantage of in August but you may have some complaining to do with the hours - good luck!

I know how frustrating that can be. Can you make your reservations tentatively and then apply the AP rates when they come out? You might also want to check on Courtyard Marriott LBV for the $20.03 rate Sunday- Thursday. I believe it starts the 2nd week of August. For that kind of rate, you won't be able to beat it anywhere! The hotel is VERY nice, clean, large rooms, very accomodating staff, nice pools, nice restaurant, and decent shuttle service to the parks. If you are going for longer than those 5 nights, you could cap off your trip by staying on property with the AP rates.

As for hours, we were there last August (stayed at CYM-LBV) and I believe that the MK closed at 6 or 7 pm except for maybe Friday and Saturday, when they stayed open until 9 pm. Epcot stays basically the same... Future World 9-7 and World Showcase 11-9, MGM closed at 8 pm and AK at 5 pm.
