I can't seem to come up with enough places to eat. We are booked through free dining right now and so we need 7 TS meals.
What is impt to us is Ohana dinner, which I booked. I also want to try TH breakfast for the kids this time, and I got that as well.
Otherwise, I need suggestions. We are staying at AKL as of right now. I booked Jiko for a date night for DH and I but we will prob pay OOP for that one.
I booked a Boma breakfast and dinner, but I am not too sure about the dinner.
I made a ressie for dinner at LTT in MK just to have a ressie, but not too sure we are really that interested in eating there.
We usually do 50s PTC for a lunch, but I was trying to think of something new to try. DD usually wants Akershus breakfast, but I think she has outgrown it now.:guilty:
Can you guys list some other ideas for our family...DS3, DS22m, DD12?
We don't want too many buffets, but it seems that a lot of places are.
I am sure there must be many wonderful places to eat that I am not thinking of....

No buffet fun: Lilo & Stitch Friendship Character breakfast at the Poly. Little kids get to do the parade around the restaurant but bigger kids (and adults) can get Stitch going if you try to engage "him".
Prime Time '50s Cafe: Your 12 year old will get a kick out of watching her parental units get disciplined
Chef's de France for lunch-See Remy
Cindy's Castle

My problem is total opposite of yours...I want to book too many meals!

Here are some favorites:

AK- Yak & Yeti
Tusker House Safari Breakfast

MK- Crystal Palace for the characters

Epcot - LeCellier
Coral Reef
Teppon Edo

Resort- Ohana supper

DHS- Sci-Fi Dine-In theater - great atmosphere and food mostly good, especially if you stick with burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes etc.
Epcot - Chefs De France, Teppan Edo, La Hacienda, Coral Reef, Rose & Crown, Biergarten ( but abuffet - show is great tho!)
AK - Yak and Yeti, Rainforest cafe
DTD - Raglan Road and T Rex
Hotels: Sanaa (AKL), Whispering canyon Cafe (WL)

We prefer LTT for lunch as it is a la carte instead of family style.

Have you tried Via Napoli at Epcot?

Mama Melrose at Studios gets mixed reviews, but our meal was very good there. And you can do a Fantasmic pkg with just 1 TS credit (you would get apps with that one).

If your family likes 50's PT in DHS, but you want something a little different, you might want to try Whispering Canyon at WL in place of a meal in MK. It is only a boat ride away and will usually give you good interaction with your servers and a fun atmosphere.

We are doing Y&Y for a CS lunch..we really like it and it is nice that it is something different from a burger or chicken fingers. I will look into Sci-Fi. Thanks! Can you see Illum from La Hacienda at Epcot? I can get in at 8pm...

We have TH bf and Ohana dinner ressies. Maybe CP breakfast would be good...we have only done dinner there. Thanks!

I will check out the LTT lunch menu. Good to know!
Haven't tried Via Nap, but we are only doing Epcot on our arrival afternoon. My family isn't really into it. I will def try to get Mama Melrose. I assumed all the Fant packages were 2 TS credits. Good info! I was trying to avoid DHS on the Fant night during our trip. Will the day in the park be really awful? We don't have hoppers...

Hmmn, I will take a look at WCC menu. GOod idea!

Try Raglan Road in DTD. If you like seafood you have to try Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort. Even if you don't love seafood their buffet has plenty to choose from. My family just loved visiting that resort.

I would definitely try out Sanaa, as a PP suggested, especially as you're staying close to it. If you're really trying to use up the credits, you may want to take a look at some signature dining experiences, like Flying Fish, that would eat up some credits and get you some very good food. We just did FF with our DD6 and DD4 and they had a great time.

We love LTT for lunch!! In fact, my kids insist we eat there on our first day in MK each time we go to WDW. It's our family tradition. And the ooey gooey toffee cake....:thumbsup2

Little kids get to do the parade around the restaurant but bigger kids (and adults) can get Stitch going if you try to engage "him".>>>you forgot to mention the two most important characters (in my opinion) for this breakfast!! Mickey & Pluto!!!! I love Ohana. So yummy, relaxing, and fun. we look fwd to mostly mickey/pluto, but stitch is a riot and we started becoming fans of his after our first time at ohana.

Raglan Road, Teppan Edo, and Sci Fi all offer some type of entertainment along with your meal. A lot of fun. Teppan Edo is my personal fave. so yummy. And SciFi is a lot of fun, fantastic atmosphere and simple yet delish food.

We really like Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Do your little ones watch Disney Jr? If so the breakfast at Hollywood and Vine would be fun for them, June and Leo from Little Einsteins are there along with Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso.

Those are both buffets though, you could book a dinner show that is worth 2TS credits such as Hoop Dee Doo.

I believe you can see Illuminations from most of the La Hacienda... the pictures people have posted from there look great! We also have had a wonderful Illuminations dinner at Rose & Crown!

We loved Les Chefs last time, as well as lunch at San Angel. Kona at the Polynesian is great for lunch, to have a break from the parks... and we had a great time at the 1900 Park Fair dinner in the GF when my DD and DN were younger!!

Soooo many choices!! Have fun!!!

I am thinking of HDDR on Halloween night. We did DTD last year and it was just too chaotic. I'd rather have a fun night planned elsewhere. I won't brave the MNSSHP crowds that night either!
The little ones don't love those H&V characters.:headache:

Thanks, grabbed a sci-fi lunch!:thumbsup2

Perfect! I grabbed an 9pm La Hacienda on arrival day. We will head to Epcot around 4 to do a few rides and then do dinner and watch Illum!:goodvibes

Teppan Edo in Japan would be fun. It is Hibachi style. We also like Crystal Palace in MK (it is a buffet), along with Biergarten in Germany (another buffet), Rose & Crown (so you can watch Illuminations from their viewing area), Mama Melrose in HS, Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club, Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

Good luck with your decision.

We stayed at AKL last time and my kids loved Boma for both breakfast and lunch.

Their other favs:
Sci-fi
Teppan Edo

Crystal Palace for breakfast is a must-do for our family. There is nothing like walking down an empty Main Street. I just love those pictures!

My family loves breakfast at Ohana. Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch are there and your food is served family style. The food is good and the character interaction is awesome. Also, I know you said you weren't crazy about buffets, but Crystal Palace in the MK is excellent.

I've heard wonderful things about lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, we are going to try that this year. Chefs de France is a good choice for lunch or early dinner, your kids may get to see Remy (he is there at certain times of the day and not at all on Sundays if I understood correctly. Le Cellier is also good (at lunch it is only one credit).

I snagged CP breakfast at 8:20. Think we will be done by the time the park opens at 9?

We did Ohana breakfast last year when we stayed at the Poly. It was fun I feel like resort breakfasts take up too much time when we should be at the park unless it is the resort we are staying at.
I did grab a CP breakfast.:thumbsup2
